But I know that I don't want to be without this guy...and I mean, he basically said it's not healthy to uproot my life just for him, but if I find a job and all and I want to move. And he knows that I don't want to stay in Orlando anyway. I would be getting my own apartment anyway, and I mean, any job is going to be better than the one I have now- it has no room for growth and I make $8 an hour with a college degree, you know? I think that I don't have much to lose. Thanks

I heard something similar from all sorts of people when I decided to save up and move from the Midwest to Vegas, especially since I'd just gotten out of a long-term relationship and was immediately jumping into another one . . . and like you, the whole idea of the move was sparked over wanting to be with someone. You're the only one who knows what's right for you though, and I'd say it makes sense especially when you have no reason to stay where you are now. I certainly had nothing to keep me where I was and felt I had nothing to lose. That was four years ago now and I don't regret leaving for a moment.
blackcauldron85 wrote:EW- thanks! I think a fresh start would be good for me. I think it wouldn't be a bad opportunity, especially since I really don't have much going on here in Florida anymore.
I really hope you'll be able to find a better job, make new friends, etc., and just plain be happier. As I once told a friend, I already know who I am, with or without a guy . . . I'm sure you do as well.

I know. I could hear my mom saying the exact same thing, so that's why I decided to shut up!

That's better than what my brother said so flippantly about my decision to move . . . "Well, that sounds kinda dangerous."

Amy, I regret we haven't been in touch by e-mail the last few months. I am happy, though, to read you're in a better spot now. If you feel this is what you gotta do... do it! It sounds like an exciting adventure. I hope you'll let us know how everything worked out.

Ames I'm really happy that you have found someone, and it's such a coincidence that I have too finally.
Wish I could refer you to someone, I know you tried to help me back when I was in trouble, and I wish I could just return the favor in a way.
I hope whatever choice you make will lead you to a happier life.
Stay positive ! Miss you !

Thanks, DD
Dan, Bobby has Harry & Sally. I've seen them a few times since I've moved out. And we're Facebook friends- we need to stay in touch better!
Julian, yeah, Bobby & I are friendly. We don't talk all the time or anything, but when he's gone away, I've watched the 2 dogs, and I know if I go away, he can watch my dog. It's all good.

That's basically what it comes down to. I mean, I would be looking all throughout the country if not for him living in NC, so it helps narrow my search.
And thanks again, EW!
lol, Renata- I think it's good in a way that not everyone is like, "Yes! Do it!" because I mean, it's important to hear a voice of reason, I guess...?
Mark! Thanks! Yeah, we have to stay in touch better. Ahmed, you too! And congrats on your finding someone!!!

Yay! Thanks, and I miss you, too!!!!!

Amy, I'm glad to know you're still around, are alright, and found someone now. I miss talking to you, but I still wish you the best of luck.

Thanks, Bobo! Yeah, I'd be in chat more often if my free wi-fi let me!
