ooups, bouth Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc are in the live action section.
I have to do something about that.
MickeyMouseboy: You can send the picture to me and I will upload it to my personal webspace. That way it does not take bandwith from Luke. If anybody else needs my email address please send me a PM and I will give it to you.

I sort of kick myself for not getting that Lion King Gift Set. It just looks soooo nice!
If only it hadn't been like twice as much as the DVD by itself!
Great pictures, gang!

Cost me nearly forty pounds. Worth every penny. I'll be getting the Aladdin one too, only this time I'll pre-order it from Amazon.com or something so I don't have to mess around with eBay.

I have been collecting for close to three years now, and I admit there are a lot of crap DVDs in my collection.
I just love DVD shopping, especially in the HMV sales.

It surely looks great on the shelf! Can't wait to pick the "Aladdin" box set to see it sitting beside "The Lion King"!

Kelly, you should not feel that you have little just because somebody else has alot. I forinstance have been collecting DVDs since 1999, and I bought my first one that year.
If you also take in account that I am 27 years old, I don't smoke, I don't drink and I don't have a car, then you might get to understand where my money go instead.
Every collection starts of with 1 DVD, and it is not important to have a lot, but to have those that you think are great.

Very well put. I meet people all the time who are just obsessed with aquiring as many DVDs as they can, an end up having several. But half of them they don't even like. It's just wasted money, IMO.
Anyways, I've got to take a pic of my collection soon, like the ones previously posted. I took one over 6 months ago, but it looks very different nowadays.

i haven't even seen probably one fourth of the movies in my collection because my wife is a dvd nut too and she is a horror movie buff. i don't really get into alot of the horror movies she likes but i do like a few. so my collection grows twice as fast as a normal collection because two people contribute it.

i also used to have some very bad habbits that took up all my time and money and when i quit all that i was left with an abundance of funds and nothing to do so i started buying dvds. if i like a movie then i want the dvd. and i like alot of movies. i score most of my dvds at used dvd places. you can score good deals that way and alot of times find stuff that's out of print. i got peter pan and beauty and the beast for 7 bucks each that way. i probably shouldn't spend so much money on dvds but its healthier than what i was doing

Wow Karlsen, that's a really nice thing to say! Thanks!
Actually, if I somehow get that Tarzan collectors edition, I will be much prouder of my collection.....
But anyway, thanks for saying that... it made me realize that my collection's not bad, but it will grow anyway

Ok, I just want to go on record as saying that is scary
And very cool too
My collection probably is the equivalent on the first photo - two (slightly larger) bookshelves full to the brim. Plus a bunch of Buffy and Angel in the wardrobe.

Well...I organize mine *ahem* the best way

, by which is your favorite all the way to your least favorite(not really like you would buy your least favorite).
My first three favorites are at the top so I can grab them quickly. First one: Aladdin, then The Little Mermaid, then the Great Mouse Detective...and so on!

My picture keeps messing up for some reason, may have been too big. So I retook the picture in a lower quality mode to make it a smaller file.
If this one messes up, I'm giving up

Okay! How do you "arrange" your Disney DVD's?

Okay, I keep my classics in chronological order, then my disney pixars in chronological order then any live action ones in no particular order.
I like doing it this way cuz I can easily see the developement of Disney and its easy to figure out what I haven't got!
Okay, thats my secret!
How 'bout you guys?

Alphabetical order.
Okay, well our case is extremely weird.
On one DVD shelf is "DISNEY/ANIMATION/CGI/ROMANCE/CHICK FLICKS"
and on the other DVD shelf "ACTION/HORROR/SPORTS/anything the
K of RJKD23 does not fancy as much.

"
or better yet, the "
HIS & HERS Collection".

It's just easier for me to pick out a movie (out of random! to avoid choosing a horror, i have a 95% chance of getting Disney or Romance in the "her collection"!

)
but it's still Alphabetical order by title...

how do you organize your disney dvds

Mine are just in random order. Unless they have a sequal, in which case the sequal is next to the original.
