Actually, the longer we wait, the more disappointed we're bound to be with the cover art since we had to wait so long to see it.

Well, if it's tiny then we've seen it. We're waiting for the large size cover art to be released. Of course, if you DO have the large one, then send it to someone via email asap!

I really hate the changes that they made when restoing the movie, in my opinion they could use a way for the ppl watch both versions, restored, and non-restores version
I expect that th DEHTM here in brazil uses DTS mode, like the lion king did.

can't wait or this one! It's one of my favourite Disney films....
I'm glad they're getting round to releasing the older stuff now

Welcome aboard, Mikey. Disney's actually released a lot of things that are quite a bit older then Aladdin, but if you mean the 90s renaissance films, then yeah, I agree

hey..
I just heard on ET that they are showing Clay Aiken in the studio recording something with this new Aladdin DVD? Would anyone here know anything about this?

I suppose he's in one of the new music videos mentioned in the press release. Good to see Disney's gotten someone with talent to do a straight to DVD music video cover as opposed to some crappy teen group no one cares about.

Maybe Clay is doing the deleted Alan Menken song "Proud of Your Boy." They will have music videos by the "Circle of Stars" (aka Circle of Crap IMO). The Clay fans on all the Clay Boards are now very anxious to get Aladdin on DVD. I have a feeling some people might be getting the DVD just for Clay!!

The new Aladdin website opened:

I do find the absence of Genie strange, and when I looked at the new cover art, he is not present either.

Anyone know what's up with the Genie?
