I don't know that Super Aurora does that. I'm certainly not under that impression. Is there any chance you might have misinterpreted him?
Lazario wrote:It's anytime I contradict him and have conviction about it, he tries to insist I'm the same person I used to be on the board and that simply isn't true.
People change over time, and we shouldn't dismiss people or their opinions because of something they did or said years and years ago.

Now that's not true. He had me in stitches a couple of times.

You have?! So you mean it was even worse before? :P

Now you both shake hands and be friends again!

You two are probably the most interesting members on UD. You both make posts like nobody else, and you both have a unique style to it. It's a shame you have to fight like this. It would be so interesting to read an actual discussion between the two of you.

Well said.

He doesn't have a sense of humor (which I've acquired since coming back), and he doesn't want to even consider that I might have a point.

In fact, even his warrior act is funny to me. As I hope my replies have shown.

But seriously in all honestly, I don't hate anyone or ever mad at anyone. If I did offend Lazario any form or way, I'll apoligize. Let's make up like raging homos now that it been taking care of :)

Which Disney Film is the Darkest

Thank you Disney's Divinity for defending me and what you said about me. You made me quite happy. :)

Hm...I do just want to add: Lazario, you can think what you want about these movies, of course, but so can we.

We think there is more to these movies than childhood fantasy. After all, Walt said he did make them for adults as well as children. I guess realizing that men huntings animals might be bad is childhood fantasy, or that grown-up love can raise your spirit (multiple meanings) is a childhood fantasy. Even the idea that things will end well if you are good is a comment on all of life, not just your childhood. We will see more in Disney films because we can and just do. Hopefully we will also try to see if the filmakers actually put it in there, if they intended it or not, but that can be hard to discern. Still, we'll try.

And we're not the only ones thinking animated films, from Disney especially, can stack up with the best of live-action films. Historians and scholars and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and others do. It was what Walt Disney always intended. For a fan to not think they can do what he aimed them to do...well...I'll leave that alone.
