Oh, hello. I didn't even know I was nominated. Still, that's nice. It's good company to be in. Except for Flanger-Hanger, whom I consider to be horribly unfunny and probably bought his nomination somehow. But 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

Oh. And, uh, huzzah, Escapay. I'll be outhumoring you someday.

Thanks everyone. :)

Three years in a row. I'm hoping 2010 will break that streak! :P Vote for plinks, Brenders, Wire Hanger, or Siren next year!

Hm. Pretty sure he said:

That was taken out of context.

Here, I'll amend my statement:

Next year, everyone should vote for plinks as Most Amusing, Brenders as Most Humorous, Wire Hanger as Most Funniest, and Siren as Most Hilarious.

I always thought I was more the "Most Hilarious" type. But thank you, Scaps, I'll be putting it on my campaign posters.

Avatar of the Year

Image:

Aaron: Presenting the award for Avatar of the Year, it's the numbers 100 and 24!

(100 and 24 come out and wave at the cheering audience)

100: Hello there! You probably didn't expect us to present, did you?

24: I'm not sure some of the people in the audience know who we are!

100: Well, we're the size limitations that avatars at UltimateDisney.com must adhere to...more or less.

24: I'm the maximum number of kilobytes an avatar should be when uploaded to UD.

100: And I'm the maximum height and width an avatar should be when uploaded to UD.

24: Of course, some people can cheat the system and link to an off-site avatar.

(100 and 24 then look at Siren, who grins cheekily.)

Image

Siren: My avatar is 135x135 and proud of it, baby!

(the audience cheers for her. 100 and 24 continue talking.)

24: Anyway, regardless of our numbers, we still enjoy the avatars that you guys decide to put up. You see, avatars are wonderful things. They provide some sort of identity or symbol for every poster -

100: (interrupts) With 50 or more posts!

24: Yes. And they are quite fun to look at. I mean, my personal favourite from 2009 was the adorable one of Sleepy Time Pooh.

Image

100: Oh yes, I remember that one. It's from blackcauldron85!

24: Sleep is always fun, so seeing a sleepy avatar like that was a joy every day...at least until she changed it.

100: Yeah, well, that's the one problem with avatars. They're always changing!

24: Well, not all the time. Sometimes a member like Lars Vermundsberget can stick around UD forever and never have an avatar.

100: That's because Lars is already identifiable by his unique name and well-written posts.

24: And then there's indianajdp, who was mentioned last year because in his entire history of UD, he's had one avatar and has never changed it.

100: Too bad it had to be Snow Dogs!

(audience laughs)

24: Anyway, here we are celebrating the wonderful avatars of the past year. But we can't celebrate all of them.

100: So after careful consideration, the avatars have been narrowed down to these nominations.

24: The nominees are...

(lights dim, save for the spotlight on a screen as each nominee's avatar shows up)

100: enigmawing - for all of her avatars. If you think her avatars are something, check out her signatures...and then check out the full-size pictures she drew them all from!
Image

24: Escapay - for his Trekkie Gromit avatar. It's so refreshing to have plasticine dogs and sci-fi franchises back in our lives, isn't it?
Image

100: Flanger-Hanger - for his Black & White James Marsden avatar. It's like you can reach in and just pinch his cheeks, and judging by the fingerprint smudges on the left side of most members screens...you did!
Image

24: PeterPanfan - for his Muppet Christmas Carol avatar. It feels like Christmas whenever we see it!
Image

100: PrincePhillipFan - for all of his avatars. Currently in season now is the new "Prince In Bondage" theme, something you don't see every day on UD, so right click "save as" if you wanna keep it!
Image

24: xxhplinkxx - for his beaming Cyclops avatar. There seems to be a trend in James Marsden avatars this year...even if only two avatars feature him.
Image

100: Actually, 24, the Cyclops featured in xxhplinkxx's avatar is not James Marsden, but some random young actor who played the character in X-Men Origins.

24: Really?

100: Yeah.

24: Pity. Mr. Marsden would have been better.

100: Well, either way, all the nominees do have nice avatars.

24: Indeed, they do. But only one will take home that Golden Mickey. Envelope, please?

(someone brings out an envelope and hands it to 100.)

100: And the Golden Mickey goes to...

(100 opens the envelope...)

Site TV-on-DVD Review of the Year

Image: Ever since its invention, TV has become an important part of our lives. While it never saved the world, kept people out of the clinic, or painted your house, it has given us loads of entertainment value that would've left us spending millions in the DVD stores, otherwise. There's nothing like relaxing after a hard day's work, just sitting down and tuning in to the Tonight Show, or catching up on your favorite characters. While many big screen movies have been hailed as entertainment gods, television has introduced us to some of the best characters and plots to ever grace the small screen. Whether you're a beagle or a lassie, lost or lost in space... whether you're a hero or just a regular family guy... whether you've been living the suite life, the simple life, or even a secret life, there's no doubt that you've found at least one program that stands out for you. But, of course, we're not talking about TV shows directly. Save that for the Emmys! We're talking about the reviews, some of the best TV-on-DVD reviews to grace your computer screen, and talking about a few of the shows that have come to DVD recently. So, without further ado, here are the nominees for the Ultimate Disney or DVDizzy.com TV-on-DVD Review of the Year. And the nominees are:

"Desperate Housewives": The Complete Fourth Season - Sizzling Secrets Edition DVD by Aaron Wallace

"Peanuts" Deluxe Holiday Collection by Luke Bonanno

"Pushing Daisies": The Complete First Season by Kelvin Cedeno

And the winner is....
