Oh god, I haven't heard that Lisa Marie CD in years. I used to blast it all the time. I remember it actually being really good. Better than her followup definitely.

Barbra Streisand - Emotion ($8 used...I know I can get a new one for $7 on Amazon, but I was there, it was there, yeah. Besides, I made up for it with the final purchase.

Besides, S&H and tax would make up the difference.)

Barbra Streisand - A Christmas Album ($6 used...savings of a whole dollar from Amazon's price.

)

Barbra Streisand - Timeless: Live In Concert ($11 used...this is the bargain. New copies are $30 on Amazon.

Maximo Park - Quicken the Heart (CD/DVD)
Loved their last two albums, and am looking forward to getting into this one too. All those bands from "oop North" are brilliant. The DVD is a 68 minute concert too, for only $4 more than the CD edition.

Mandy Moore-
Amanda Leigh
$9.98 at Best Buy (with Price Match of Target's price)
I could've downloaded it from Amazon mp3 for $3.99, but I have no blank CDs, and I don't mind spending the extra money for Mandy, which sounds weird, but she's worth it. I love it. I knew I would; it's very delightful.

Yeah! I was SO happy! I almost gave in and ordered it online but we went to a mall that is like an hour away from us and I checked there and they had it!

How is the album? Is it good? I bought Wild Hope a few months ago and didn't listen to it all, so I was thinking of getting this one too but I wasn't sure if it was any good. I really loved ICBYHADOTW, is the rest of the album as good?

a) You need to listen to
Wild Hope. Right now.
b) I wrote my thoughts in the Mandy Moore thread here, but, yes, it's amazing- I love it! It gets better every listen, even though it's amazing to begin with.
c) ICBYHADOTW is one of my favorite tracks on the album- it's so catchy! Every song is really extremely good, though. There's one song that took me a few listens to get into, but it really is such a solid album.

Oh, ok good! I saw it at FYE but I figured I could get it for a better deal at Costco or somewhere. Instead I bought:
TLC Fanmail [Revised Explicit Version] $4.99 used at FYE.

Excellent choice! Such a classic album!

What does "Revised Explicit Version" mean? My best friend has (or at least had) that album, and from what I remember, most songs were good...I should look into getting at least TLC's Greatest Hits CD- they've had some wonderful singles.

There are two versions of the explicit edition of the album, on both versions it lists the song "I'm Good At Being Bad" as 5:39. On the original version it is 5:43, but on the revised version the song is 4:38, because they cut out the "I Love To Love You, Baby" samples between the chorus and verses. It's such a dirty song! Haha.
I was going to buy the Greatest Hits CD, but I found all their CDs (except their very first one from 1992) used for very cheap ($2.99 - $4.99). Other than their first one, I didn't buy CrazySexyCool yet because it's $7.99 used and there were other things I wanted to buy yesterday, haha. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow for it.

I've been meaning to get this for a while, but finally I now have one of my favorite musicals on CD.
