I think I understand what Disney's trying to say here:

I really hope Disney is just holding it back now to include Naveen and Flynn in the book and haven't just abandoned this all together. It's time the Disney men received their due as well.

It's about time indeed! And now that Tangled and The Princess and the Frog has been released, it would be the perfect time to release this book...

Sorry for that:/ I was going through my Disney book collection earlier today, and I suddenly thought about this book and googled it to see if there were any news on it. Sadly there was not...

Sorry to bump this too but wasn't there a book called "The Disney Heroine"? It was uspposed to be about...well of course the Disney heroines, much like "The Disney Villain" (which is such an awesome book).

Tim Palin, the senior designer at Disney Editions, has shared a few pages from the canceled book.

A real shame this book was never released. Looks even better than I expected at the time.

I don't think I've ever seen that picture on the top left of the Beast concept drawings page. That one concept of Eric (on the left) looks like He-Man in Taran's clothes. Too bad there aren't any pages on Aladdin out there.

I'd completely forgotten about this ! What a shame it has never seen a release, real waste. But it falls in line with what Disney think about the Princes, they don't know what to do with them I guess

Will never forgive them for cancelling this book. And it was gong to include art for Prince Edward..which reminds me, I hate that they never made a "making of" book for Enchanted.

I was recently bemoaning that fact as well. I always wanted some sort of "making of" or "art of" book for Enchanted. Maybe even some sort of ABC TV special that goes behind the scenes of the movie.
