It's just funny after experiencing Coraline and Up in 3D, the trailer pokes fun at the whole concept which makes the trailer really hilarious.

The trailer, though, got me excited for Toy Story 3...not for TS/TS2 in 3D. I really can't wait to see all of the gang again for a new adventure and laughs.

On October 2, 2009 the film will be re-released in Disney Digital 3-D. The film will be released with Toy Story as a double feature for a two-week run. In addition, the film's sequel, Toy Story 3, will also be released in the 3-D format. Lasseter commented on the new 3-D re-release: "The Toy Story films and characters will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we're so excited to be bringing this landmark film back for audiences to enjoy in a whole new way thanks to the latest in 3-D technology. With Toy Story 3 shaping up to be another great adventure for Buzz, Woody and the gang from Andy's room, we thought it would be great to let audiences experience the first two films all over again and in a brand new way."
If you see the film in a Fandango movie theater you will recieve 50 EXTRA Disney Movie Rewards Points!

Anyone going to see this? Comes out October 2nd 2009 for a limited two week run.

:)

I think that it's a cool concept, but I just don't have the money...I can just watch the DVDs at home. I know it's not the same, but I just can't rationalize spending my little spending money on essentially the same movies that I already own.

I got to see the first 15 minutes at the D23 Expo (had to leave early) and it was awesome! I can't wait to see the whole thing. They had some really fun new animation before the first film and I hear there is more during the intermission. You also get a "sneak peek" at Toy Story 3 when you go.

Also, you can get 50 points per ticket through Disney Movie Rewards if you mail in your stubs (maximum of 4). DMR has a deal with Fandango where if you order through them, it automatically gives you the points, but you can still get the points the old fashioned way. I'm hoping they eventually extend that to movietickets.com as Fandango doesn't sell tickets for the movie theaters closest to me (Marcus and AMC).

I'll hopefully be going sometime this weekend! I'm really excited. Toy Story is in my top 5 movies of all time, I love it so much, and it'll be great to see it (and it's sequel) on the big screen again. And in 3D!

I know in another forum I said I didn't think these movies were going to do well, but I have to take that back. I was basing my opinion on Fandango (as my paper no longer tells run times and directs me to that website) and that site told me that no theaters in my area would be showing this movie. Well I checked the Official Toy Story website and it looks like they not only ARE showing it, but that they added a second screen just for it. Pixar movies must do well as they added their first 3D screen for Up and now their second for Toy Story. Maybe they'll have 3 3D equipped screens by Toy Story 3!

Fandango you almost tricked me but now I know better and I'm excited again to go see these movies. Lets make this re-release so good that they change their minds about Beauty and the Beast 3D!!!

I got my tickets through Fandango for Saturday at Noon so my dad and I are going.....I almost missed this because of uncertain traveling plans but something came up so I was able to get tickets....

I can't wait.....my mom and dad have heard me chattering about this nonstop for the past year or 2 since it was announced that there was a 3rd one.....although one of my friends who is 14 scares me......he was only in diapers when Toy Story came out originally....and he doesn't want to see it because Shrek is better oh and won't watch the incredibles.......which got me thinking....I am getting too old.....where does the time go....being 22 years old myself may not seem like that old....but you'd be surprised how I am realizing.....time flies fast..

oh btw c my 14 year old friend I met playing Yu-gi-oh prefers VHS over dvd because its better in his opinion........ :? :brick: :shifty:
