Just wondering, but how much do you think its budget is and how much do you think it'll make in its domestic run?

Am not impressed at all by this Tim Burton flick. How many of you know that this is a remake?? "Frankenweenie" was a direct to video film back in 1984 which starred Daniel Stern and Shelley Duvall.

I saw the new trailer when I went to see "The Avengers" for the fourth time this past week, and almost everyone in the audience groaned when this trailer was on and over. I thought the animation, or stop-motion animation, was really bad.

Of course that is probably another reason why I dislike "Nightmare Before Christmas" so much, even though I own it. I just don't get it, I guess.

I will not be seeing this film in the theaters, and probably won't rent it either.

I'm fairly certain everyone here knows that.

It's one thing to say you aren't interested. Understandable. But it's another to claim the animation is bad. The animation is most certainly not bad - in fact, it's some of the best stop motion animation you can find. If you don't "understand" stop motion, then how can you judge whether it is well done or not?

I love how everyone always has this coincidental experience of the entire audience agreeing when a trailer is supposedly 'bad'.

I'm pretty sure I could say my entire audience went wild with excitement because I sure did. That would be an exaggeration of my experience. As is yours.

too add to what swillie said, they also dialed back the models from being like Corpse Bride, which had some people confusedly assuming cgi was used in that movie
