Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey

It's hard to classify it as a tie-in. Did Disney Princess: Enchanted Tales inspire the gold and pink, or did the gold and pink just come at the same time?

The gold dresses and pink clouds and castle are more the general new look the franchise is getting now, but the "Enchanted" in the name probably was decided to connect it to the DVDs. But then again, why was the other gilded game with similar pink logo called "Magical" instead, with no mention of "Enchanted" or "Tales"?

Well yamiiguy, the game doesn't really follow the storylines from the Enchanted Tales DVDs. It's just helping the princesses in their worlds from the movie. I say if it's a tie-in, it's just tied into the franchise as a whole.

I got the game for Christmas on CD-ROM. Will play it much later, though. May only get to it by Summer. I have other games I want to play before I get to it.

I thought it was alright.
The villain wasn't really up to snuff though "If I can't be a princess, no one can!!!"
It took my 8 year old sister two days (including school) to finish it, and thats only cause I accidentaly deleted her game on day 1

The gold dresses came at the same time to promote it.
The castle we see in the merchandise by the way (From what i heard) is called the Kingdom Of Kindness in the DS game (and i have no idea why Magical and not Enchanted).
Have fun :D.
I just re-pl).ayed the levels and noticed Snow White's cap is just red.
Also there's not a lot of character, exept the Princess (of course)-in Snow White's level there's only 4 dwarfs (Doc,Grumpy,Happy and Dopey),Cinderella's has Jaq,Gus and Fairy Godmother,Jasmine's had Abu,Ariel's had Flounder and Sebastian and Belle's had Lumier (but her's was just a bonus),why just 4 dwarfs? :?.

I"m glad you liked it :D.
Yeah, she was so stupid :? (she was a princess?),also the castle reminds me of Aurora's.
It is easy but fun :D.

I also wanted to say that this game is MUCH truer to the original films then Kingdom Hearts (well, mostly then the lame manga and Kingdom Hearts II),first of all,all the character are true to their original character, unlike Kingdom Hearts (well,in the first exept Ariel all the other Princesses were out of their characters),and in other things-for exmaple,in Kingdom Hearts Sora,Donald,Goofy and Aladdin take all the treasures in the Cave Of Wonders and the cave won't do anything,in Jasmine's level in the game the bogs steal treasures the cave collapse and after the heroine put the treasures back it stops.
And about the worlds-
Snow White's level has mountains that dosn't have the feeling of the film.
Cinderella's level has a few places that are more like Sleeping Beauty actually (the forest for example).
Belle's and Jasmine's levels are kinda like Kingdom Hearts II but are better and truer to the films.
Ariel's level is the best,Atlantica itself looks very original and give the feeling of film, you can even go to the surface (finally!) to the port near Eric's castle,to Eric's wedding ship and even to the lagoon where Ariel and Eric kissed.

Why are you even comparing the two? They are two completely different type of gaming experience.

One's aimed for little girls with very easy game play while the other is for all ages and is more of an rpg.

Not at all, thought this game was created to be more easier to small children but everyone can play,Kingdom Hearts is great but Kingdom Hearts II was chessy, dosn't give the feeling of the films and ALL the Disney characters were out of their characters,This game has the characters true to their characters.

about Disney Friends-the game looks nice (it has Dory) but the trailer makes this game looks childish, and i don't get this game's point-Simba,Stitch or Dory are you pets? or you pretened they are your friends? werid.
Enchanted-the game looks great and i"m buying it for sure, but 2 thing:
What was that scarcrow that Giselle made?.
when the prince is fighting with trolls\ogers-i"m the only who thought about shrek? (shrek bashed Disney now it's Disney revenge).
Those look like so much fun! Pity I don't have a DS... :( (And I'd probably be to embarrassed to buy the games in public! lol)

A DS is really fun :D you shouldn't be embarrassed (you can also order online).
I already finished the Enchanted game and it's really fun,I"m waiting to get the Little Mermaid one and I might buy Disney Friends soon.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't be embarrassed, but there's still the whole pressure with teenaged girls having to 'act your age' and occasionally, I feel a tad immature about liking Disney...not all the time, just occasionally. (And I'm trying to curb the habit of impulse buying too.)

But they still look like fun and I still want them! :D

I'm going to bump this old thread a little bit, because I will be working on doing my playthrough of my PS2 game entitled "Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey" and this game is going to be bad, you know why, it is made for little girls, because little girls loved the game and for the guys who doesn't know how to play this terrible game. This is where I'm going to be working on a future episode of the "4:00 Game" very soon which will be on both YouTube and GotGame in promotion for the Disney return to 2D animated film "The Princess and the Frog" which will be coming out in the Fall which will be saluting the Disney Princess in the theme where they going to cover every video game based on a princess character.

I will be filming in production probably soon and after this is done, I will be putting up on both YouTube and GotGame soon and it's going to take a bunch of parts, so stay tuned!

"Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey" will be my final playthrough for the Disney Princess video games salute on the "4:00 Game" and it will be coming out by mid-Fall or late-Fall of this year. Keep checking it back for detail on upcoming episodes.
