I've merged a lot of James' recent music-related news announcements into this single thread. New singles and music videos from pop artists are certainly worth announcing and discussing, but when you consider how many of them there are each week, having separate threads for each gets to be too much. Therefore, this thread provides a place for that information to be posted and discussed.

I think some music news announcements -- like a substantial come-back, a career change, or even a new album from a major artist -- still warrant their own thread. For example, I didn't include the thread about Beyonce's B'Day album in this merge. When it's something like a new single from Rihanna or music video from Aly & AJ, though, I think this will be the best place for it.

Oh okay, cool Aaron. Thanks for that, thought that someone had hijacked my username or something and was posting as me for a second, but then realised what you did. I was thinking too that it was getting a bit much, so thanks for that. :)

Oh man, that's annoying. Luckily I found another link for it. Here you go- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAi5n9igqFE Enjoy! I personally love the song and the clip is great too. I love when she smiles. :) More news about her forthcoming singles has emerged, with her stating the Hate That I Love You will be the single after Don't Stop The Music. She is working on the video, but don't expect it anytime soon. It is apparently her favourite track on the Good Girl Gone Bad album. I actually bought the album yesterday, with the special edition remix disc. The album is fantastic, I love it. I love all the three singles so far, as well as Hate That I Love You, Push Up On Me, Breakin' Dishes, Question Existing, Good Girl Gone Bad and Cry. The SOS remix is good too.

Thanks, James! "Shut Up and Drive" is still my favorite single by her, but "Don't Stop the Music" is catchy! :)

Hey guys, there hasn't been much happening with new music videos, but we have an official date for Nicole Scherzinger's new music video for her first solo single Whatever U Like- it is Tuesday, 28th August. I can't wait, here is a 36 second sneak peek of the beginning of the clip for you, it's everything in the song until the 1st verse starts. It's really good, kind of like a police chase or something. Really hot and sexy, check it out- http://youtube.com/watch?v=29hQ34fazGI
Oh, and Ashley Tisdale's three new music videos should be out late August/ September, according to one of her dancers or someone.
Enjoy!

So, is Nicole no longer with PCD?

And, I've heard about Ashley Tisdale making 3 new videos around the same time, but they're all going to be released at the same time? I don't see the logic in that...???

No no, Nicole is still with PCD, but PCD is going to be expanding their horizons, so to speak, wih the rest of the girls given more chances apparently to sing solo, and each f the singles will apparently centre around each girl, which will give Nicole so much needed breaks to work on her solo career.
And yeah, don't know if she's releasing them all at the same time, but I know that the first one will be HS, SS. I just assumed that she'd release them at the same time. Ha, oops/

Hey guys, some more info and stuff on Nicole. Here is the official front cover for her debut album-Image and here is the official full video clip for Whatever U Like, two weeks earlier than expected- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opikdNJHv9g It's good, but it'd be better if it was lighter and not so shady and dark. But still good. Oh, and Gwen Stefani's new single will be Now That You Got It, and the video should be out soon, it was shot in the bahamas reportedly, and the single will be a remix by Damien Marley.

Hey guys, I have seven new music videos to entertain you all with, being Rihanna and Ne*Yo's new one "Hate That I Love You", Ashley Tisdale's musical trilogy "He Said, She Said", "Not Like That", and "Suddenly", Nicole Scherzinger's softie "Baby Love", Alicia Keys' melodic "No One", and Avril Lavigne's anthemic "Hot".
Rihanna feat Ne*Yo- Hate That I Love You- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=144rRDM0 ... ed&search=
Ashey Tisdale- There's Something About Ashley-
PART 1-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_ulb6pEIVs
PART 2-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MELiRDG_ ... ed&search=
Nicole Scherzinger- Baby Love- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7P738lvS_E
Alicia Keys- No One- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWutQOjgav4
Avril Lavigne- Hot- http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=E29FcteGSdw

And, I have a special behind-the-scenes for Kelly Clarkson's medieval inspired one "Don't Waste Your Time", which has a green screen castle, and has her wearing her dress from the cover of My December.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH5jxQogDUM
The video for Don't Waste Your Time should be up soon, as should Fergie's Clumsy, Hilary Duff's Reach Out (And Touch Me), and the big one Britney Spears' Gimme More.
Enjoy!

Thanks soooo much for posting those, James!

I saw Rihanna's new video on TRL yesterday- I NEED to put her CDs on my Christmas list- I love all of her singles!

I had seen the "He Said, She Said" video, but I'm so happy to have seen all 3 now!!! Yay!!! Ashley did an amazing job! And in Part 1, she has the same cell phone that I just bought! :)

I didn't know that "Hot" would be the next single off of Avril's album, but I'm glad it is- it's definitely one of my favorites on the CD. But, the video was boring. Usually her videos have a story behind them, and this was just all Avril, 100% of the time, with no story...but, I like the song!

No problem BC85. :) I haven't posted video clips for a while, so there was just a ton that I needed to put up here. I liked He Said She Said, but Not Like That and Suddenly were both a bit boring to me, I think I had high expectations for them. Hate That I Love You was great, Rihanna was so pretty and classy in it, I love how they're in the elevator and the music stops and they look at each other. Hot was allright in my opinion, I like how she's in the green thing, not so much in the other clothes. Alicia's No One was cool how it revolved around that clock thingy, but other than that, just ordinary, I guess. Baby Love was cool, I reckon, I like how it went to the island, and they went into the water and on the bike and stuff. It's a good song too, love it.
