Sporty Spice will always have a special place in my heart!

On October the 1st it will be revealed who will be the first to recieve the chance to buy tickets for the Spice Girls concerts. I hate this thing, it sucks.

i wonder when were gonna hear some tour cities...im so corny ill travel to the closest city to see them...hope they revisit orlando once again!!!

Los Angelos - Dec 7
Las Vegas - Dec 8
New York- Dec 11

Those are the only US dates.

Anywho, if they unfortunately dont add more tour dates here in the US [that are hopefully closer to me] I hope they release a DVD of their concert. I also hope for a better DVD release of Spice World. The current edition has NO extras and is only in full screen. But most of all, I hope they release a DVD of their old kick-ass concert they did back in the day. I wanna say it was at Madison Square Garden, but I'm not sure. I hope they add all their music videos on it, too. I have it recorded on tape somewhere. Maybe I'll watch it one of these days. I'm really looking forward to their "gritty" documentary!

I'm sure there are a million things that you enjoy that I wouldnt. But do you see me going around calling everything you like crap? No. Because if you like it, good for you. Who am I to tell you something that you like is crap? No one. Have fun, if you enjoy it, enjoy it! I'm genuinely glad you have things that you like. So why cant you have the same courtesy and respect that myself and other members of this board enjoy the Spice Girls?

Actually, I sort of agree that the Spice Girls aren't that talented (apart from Mel C - it's criminal her solo career didn't do better. I think she's wonderful).

But do you know what? Sometimes it doesn't matter. It really doesn't. The Spice Girls were only, at the most, 50% music. The rest was look, style, character, charisma (except for Victoria, obviously when it comes to charisma) and attitude. They were about fun, and anything that's fun can't seriously be criticised that much (and that includes their movie, which was supposed to be camp and tacky).

It's the same with actors. Schwarzenegger was never even close to being more than a "competent" actor, but he has his fans. I adore Christopher Walken, but let's face it, he's pretty much the same in most things he does (and rather disturbingly for both serious and comedy acting).

The Spice Girls are, I think, a product of their time, and ultimately I think the reunion will be a mistake. But the biggest mistake was the public not letting the girls move on. In a way, each was type-cast, just like actors often are.

Tell us, what exactly is so great, happy and productive in your life, hmm? I can see your daily planner:

8:00am: Wake up. Get showered and dressed.
9:00am: Go to WalMart and buy every Disney DVD/BluRay/Video/LaserDisc/UMD/BetaMax/MiniDisc available. Do this at all the different stores for the rest of the day until they are sold out and you hit a new bankruptcy chapter around 3:30pm.
4:00pm: Come home and dump on Spice Girls, and anything else you don't like. Throw in some random "I'm buying!!!" and "Your life sucks!!! Mine's better!!!" comments.
5:00pm: Proceed to repeat the entire 9:00am process in another state.
10:00pm: Drive home, go to bed.
