You DO you it's just five of the nine films from the 1964-1993 series, right?
With only that set you need...
Inspector Clouseau (1968) (With Alan Arkin.)
The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) (The only Sellers film you need.)
Curse of the Pink Panther (1983) (Ends the story of 'Trail of'.)
Son of the Pink Panther (1993).
I have The Return of the Pink Panther, although it is non-anamorphic, and I will try to find the anamorphic version...
I will look for the others one of these days... Heck, I will probably pick up the Remake!
I got the set for $29.99 used (store credit), and that was before the Buy 4 Get 1 Free deal!

I got in on a FANTASTIC deal a few weeks back, where CircuitCity.com had priced
The Complete Matrix Trilogy (HD-DVD) at $19.99, by mistake. The regular price should have been $79.99. At any rate, I decided to purchase it, even though I don't have an HD-DVD player, because I have a couple of friends that have one. Anyway, Circuit City quickly adjusted the price of the set to the correct price of $79.99, but, honored the deal for some of the people that got in on the deal at $19.99. I was one of the lucky ones. In the meantime, one of my friends, who works at Best Buy, told me to just bring the set in to Best Buy (if I decided not to keep it), and he would give me a store credit for the full amount of $79.99 plus tax. I was like, heck yeah! So, this evening, I went in, and did the store credit deal. So, I paid $23.50 with tax and shipping for that set, and I got store credit of $85.95!
Anyway, with my store credit, I picked up:
V for Vendetta (Widescreen Edition) for $9.99 plus tax.
I'm saving the rest of my store credit of $75.96, plus a $20.00 Reward Zone certificate, and a $2.00 Best Buy Gift Card (from a Reward Zone members event) to buy three ABC TV DVD sets that are coming out in September (
Desperate Housewives: Season 3,
Grey's Anatomy: Season 3, and
Brothers and Sisters: Season 1).
Then, thanks to a post at the DVDTalk.com forums, I picked up:
Fantastic Four: Extended Edition (Two-Disc Widescreen Special Edition)
Best Buy has this on sale for $9.99, but, the post at the DVDTalk.com forums had a link for a $4.00 off coupon
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/6053 ... ourtr0.jpg , which I was able to use off the sale price, which brought my total to $5.99 plus tax. On top of this, the set comes with free Hollywood Movie Money (up to $8.50), to see
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
I must say that I ended up with one heck of a bargain at Best Buy, this evening!

Well, I finally recieved "Chicago" today, and I love it! I've only watched about half of it, and so far it is one of my favorite movie musicals (probably only second to "The Phantom of the Opera"

). Anyway, I'll probably finish it tonight along with some of the features.

From Best Buy:
Reno 911! - Miami (Unrated) - $16.99
I still haven't purchased
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or
The Bridge to Terabithia! I'll definitely be doing that this weekend.

Thanks for that coupon, MM1! I have done a few "returns" like that...
I bought those 5 season sets for $10 each at Dollar General (listed earlier in the thread,) and traded them as used discs to FYE for 17.99 X 3, 14.99, and 11.99 or 12.99... So - $50 cash turned into $82 store credit!

Well, I've not posted for a while so what have I got recently? Ignoring my HD format purchases, I got:
Babel 2 Disc Special Collectors Edition: UK (for the non-fluffy 90min making of absent from the HD DVD I own)
Shortbus: UK (for er... my own... reasons. Yeah, that's the ticket. "My own reasons".)
Scrubs S5: UK (for er... Scrubbing?)
Fantastic Four: Extended Edition: US (for the comic book features: I have the others on my UK 2 disc set)
Ghost Rider Extended Edition: US (for the comic book fearture absent from the Blu-Ray)
Doctor Who Season 3 Vol 2 UK (not for Daleks in Manhatten/Evolution of the Daleks... but the Lazarus Experiment is quite tasty)
Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) The Complete Series: UK (for the fact it is brilliant! I can't believe it, after over 1 year, this has finally shipped!)
Eurovision Song Contest 2007: UK (for the French entry, oh, and Scooch)
Hellboy: Blood and Iron: US (for an animated Sema Blair. Mmmm. Sema Blair)

Do you happen to know if Wal-Mart's sales only last until Saturday,
jeremy88? My goal was to go get
Pooh and
Terabithia tomorrow, but it turns out I can't until Monday. I know most retailers only run their weekly sales through Saturday, but I'm hoping that I'll get lucky and Wal-Mart will run their sale through Monday!

Today I picked up:
Little Miss Sunshine ($13.99)

I think at Wal-Mart, the one near my house anyways, the sales last up til about a week. The next Tuesday after is when DVD's usually go up to the regular $19.99. Good luck getting them!
