Just Symbiote Spidey.

I've always loved the plots of the Spiderman movies and the Peter-MJ chemistry. But I think the direction is horrible *see Dr. Octavius comes alive sequence* and some of the writing cheesy. But seeing as how I'm compelled with the story I'll watch the movie. lol. I still think X2 is perhaps the greatest comic book movie ever.

Yeah my mistake Venom isn't in the trailer. That ending probably want be in the movie unless its a dream or something. Kind of a Symbiote Spidey vs. Spidey teaser I guess. I just hope Venom, looks like Venom. The Green Goblin from Spidey 1 looked like a Power Ranger which is one of my only major complaints about that film. I still wished that the Symbiote Spidey was black with the white spider.

I haven't heard about The Lizard, but with the other 3 they really need to just scrap anymore plans for villians. At one point I heard about Carnage being a 4th villian, which would be pretty bad. It will take enough time to do Venom, adding Carnage would only make it worse.

Anyway one of the villians story will be easy to cover (actually it will be pretty much covered from the start of the film), another fairly simple (a few setup parts really), but Venom? Thats going to be tough to cram into a 2/2 and a half hour movie. I'm thinking we will see a setup similar to the 90s cartoon series, or either Ultimate Spider-Man. No way will they do it like the original comics with the Secret Wars, etc...

i can't wait. spider man is one of my favorite comic book movies along with x men and x2.

Other than Sandman, Harry will become the Goblin, and Eddie will become Venom.

Internet Movie Database *used* to have Carnage listed in the extended cast credits, but no longer has it listed. I think someone put it there as a joke or as a red herring.

wow that was awesome! lots of villians...anyway i am sure it will be good. Spiderman (1 and 2) are like the best superhero movies!

I saw Spider-Man 3 preview yesterday with Superman Returns.

Spider-Man 3 is going be great can't way until next summer.

Black costume + Sandman + Green Goblin = action pack movie don't forget Vemon!!!!

Not positive if Vemon is in the movie but the black costume is....

This will be the best Spider-Man movie so bring on Spider-Man 4!!!!

I think this movie will be good, but not as good as the first two. The villians are okay so far. I think it won't surpass pirates 3 at the box office.

They are not over Uncle Ben dying because if it was not for that, there would be no reason for Peter to become Spider-Man.

I am really excited to see this movie. It looks much darker than the first two films. The trailer is the best trailer I've seen in a long time.

I heard that they are starting the script for Spider-man 4 soon, but a couple of weeks ago Tobey Maguire said that he doesnt want to return for a fourth. I hope he changes his mind. While I'm not a huge fan of Tobey, I've grown comfortable of his portrayal of Peter Parker. They can get rid of Kristen Dunst though, I cant stand her!!!

No, I saw a preview for it before Casino Royale, and I think he somehow is being brought back to life or something. The scene shows him in a chamber in the middle of a big sand tornado. And there's a dialogue in the background saying "Your uncle's killer has gone missing." or something. Sorry for the vague details, but that's what I remember.

I really hope Venom is done right. So far everything I have seen looks good. I've even learned to live with the changes they have done to the black suit and even Venom (at least he has the huge spider on his chest unlike Spider-man when he has the suit).

I think some people will be disappointed in Venom though. Many people will think that they are going to see a 2 and a half hour movie with Venom, and be disappointed that he is only near the end (from what I've heard).

Sandman as Ben's killer? Don't know about that, but it will help keep Uncle Ben in the 3rd movie. Ben is the reason Peter is Spider-man anyway.

Glad to see Harry is going to become a "New Goblin". Why not call him Green Goblin II though? New Goblin is odd. His outfit is odd as well, but I never liked the "Power Ranger" Goblin outfit from the first film either. Harry's suit really reminds me of an outfit you wear to play paint ball, while his glider is a snowboard. Just odd...

Anyway I don't think we will see Harry be a bad guy the whole film. I can see a Harry/Peter team up somewhere in the film. Maybe when Venom finally comes around.
