Oh boy, a thread perfect for me. Some of my pet peeves....
- Florida drivers. They are slow, reckless, and often drunk. How do these people get licenses?
- The fact that all the good movies come out on DVD on the same day, and if you don't buy them within the first week, they're either too expensive or had a special no longer available.
- Republicans.
- Great comedies that get cancelled/put on hiatus without really giving them a chance (
Knights of Prosperity, Andy Barker P.I.).
- Carrie Underwood.
- My parents when we're all in a foul mood. Oy vey.
- Anyone who still believes Latter Day Saints (Mormons) still practice polygamy.
- Long movies that have a slow pace and end up going nowhere plot wise (
Good Shepherd).
- Great movies that no one sees and only last in theaters for four weeks (
Zodiac, Reign Over Me).
- Terrible movies that seem to never leave theaters (
Premonition, TMNT).
- People who disrespect and/or abuse animals for pleasure, especially cats and dogs. You people deserve to rot in hell.
- The fact that my sarcasm seems to be lost on anyone my age.
- The mentality of skateboarders/preppies. Use some damn sense, God gave you a brain for a reason.
- Lack of appreciation for great musicians, e.g. John Mayer, The White Stripes, twilight singers.
- Racists.
- Sexists.
- Kids in my church class who seem to think I'm gay.
- The fact that Curtis Hanson's new movie may never see the light of day in theaters, and if it does, it'll get crushed (seriously, WB, why not release Lucky You last September and not the same day Spidey 3 comes out?!) .
- The fact that all of my girlfriends loved country and couldn't stand classic rock. How do you go through life without ever letting the Led out or getting 'Thunderstruck'?
- The fact that I can't think of anymore pet peeves and know I have many more.
Jeers,
JM
