Please respect if someone (like Luke) doesn´t want to tell his or her age.
What use is this for us chatting here?
Is it not Disney (or movies) we are here to chat about.
I think it´s nice to have a tread like this for the ones that feel the need to tell such things - but leave the rest out of it.
I´m also not going to tell my age here - why should I!
Cute. Now Luke has his own bodyguard. . .

what if we kept track of everyone's birthdays, those who volunteered the info, and we can post a birthday greeting ultimatedisney style on people's birthdays. :D

so far there are only 27 birthdates given.

does anyone like this idea? luke, what do you think?

The idea, in theory, is a good one. However I for one don't think it's something we should do.

Sure things are small now, but I would hope we would have doubled by this time next year. Does that mean we are going to have 100 Happy Birthday threads stating essentially the same thing from those posting in it? Personally I know I wouldn't want to have ten different Happy Birthday threads cluttering up the first page of this Forum.

Maybe the solution is we have ONE master thread devoted to birthdays. A master list is posted at the start and then updated as new members join and post their birthdates. If someone's birthday comes up than that single thread is where you express your salutations and the like. Maybe this thread becomes that thread?

If someone is willing to compile the list and e-mail it to me, I can add it to the original post or something.

that's what i would do.. have just one birthday thread. because as soon as it was updated to post someone's b-day, people would notice. if i had thought of having separate threads for everyone's b-day was the way to do it, i wouldn't have suggested it. we can make it like the news flash or disney story threads.

I've already put together a list through the third page or something and was going to do monthly birthday greetings or something, but if you'd like to be in charge of it, that's cool. I think a thread for each person would be excessive, but at least doing something would be cool.

Here's what I had so far:

January 12 Mermaid Kelly
January 21 Maerj
January 29 PheR
February 18 Indianajdp
April 9 UncleRemus
March 12 Dogtanian
May 8 Paka
May 27 2099net
May 31 Prince Adam
May 31 Satoshi
June 6 Chernobog
June 18 catNC
June 30 ZOOMBOOM688
July 6 Papa Bear
July 23 BasilOfBakerStreet427
July 26 IggieKuzco
August 7 ddave
September 3 Jake Lipson
September 10 Michelle
September 21 STASHONE
September 30 Royal Natalie
September Lady
October 21 Cinderelly
October 24 Disneykid
October 24 LKFan17
November 5 MickeyMouseBoy
December 12 Loomis
December 12 ThiagoPE

i have already started putting them in my calendar in outlook so it would be easy to keep up with.

:)

as long as you give it the go ahead to post b-day's i'll keep in charge of it.
and as new people come on they can email me their b-days if they would like to be added to the list.

OMG when I voted & the results came up I was floored when I saw that I was the first in the 40+ category. I feel half my age but my actual birthday is Oct. 11, 1954. Guess I'm the only one here who knows where he was when JFK was shot.

It's being young at heart that counts, especially when it comes to Disney. :D
