How long is a teeny bit more? I've got 7 classics left to get to complete my collection. I suppose unless I'm prepared to shell out for the 2 disc Beauty and the Beast then I'll be waiting for quite a few more years anyway but it's just so annoying. I just don't think they are really bothered about releasing Make Mine Music. I've haven't even seen the film yet. At least with the other classics I'm missing, I have them on VHS.

I have just ordered the region2 disc of Make MIne Music from Axelmusic.com as recommended. I now have only one (slight) worry, I understand there are English subtitles but is the soundtrack itself in English?
Hoping someone could let me know please.
Happy 2007 to all

The only soundtrack on the DVD is in English, and all the subtitles are optional. The menus are in English. You should be fine with it.

Aaaaaw! I wish this would be released in Region 2 UK ...
Listen guys, if anyone has any news, MAKE SURE YOU POST IT!! Bwahahahaha!!
If you don't, we'll order Lukester to carry out UD tortures on you until you blurt it out!
LUKE (As a hooded demonic-like figure): Tell us the latest news on the Region 2 Make Mine Music!
Unfortunate Victim: Noooo! It's secret!
LUKE (As a hooded demonic-like figure): Do you want me quarter you into pieces with wild horses!??
Unfortunate Victim: No! Please don't! I tell you... you don't want to see my duodenum and my ileum! It's all squishy and covered with microvilli ... you know; finger-like projections of the intestine, they absorb up food nutrients...
LUKE (As a hooded demonic-like figure): UUUGH! You're off! *goes to barf*

What's the difference - wouldn't you need to import it either way...?
needed in the US

Wow, I'd love to get this disc, but I can't speak the languages and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong in the ordering process on those sites - lol - help! I'm in the US. Is there an English-language website I can order this DVD from?

Make Mine Music will almost certainly be coming out in the UK in the next 3 months because I've finally taken the plunge and have just ordered it from filmifriikki

Yippee! It arrived this morning. Wasn't expecting it so quickly.
I can't understand why we haven't had a UK release. I mean what's the big issue? How come scandinavia gets this unedited release, whilst we have nothing?
Well anyway now I have the film and I'm happy as Larry.
I'd fully recommend filmifrikki to anyone who wants the film.

i am thinking of setting up a petitionto send to disney uk in order to get make mine music released here. they've no excuse, they have the bbfc clearance for the extras as we know so they should get a move on. i only need this film along with 101 dalmatians, dumbo and the jungle book to complete my collection.
would people be willing to sign the petition and get the film released here?
please give me any feedback you can
cheers

The reason cited by BVHE for not releasing Make Mine Music in the UK, was that it was delayed due to "unforseen legal issues".
Now as to what that could mean, your guess is as good as mine. I suspect music would be a likely culprit. It would be surprising if licensing the music would be a problem only here in the UK when it's been released in other countries, but it's about the likliest candidate.
The fact that they submitted the bonus features for classification at the BBFC indicates a release was planned so probably something did put a spanner in the works and Disney were prevented from releasing it rather than deciding themselves not to release it. Of course that was a couple of years ago when the legal issues information was given.
I'd suggest anyone wanting information of a more up-to-date nature, ring the new UK customer service hotline on 0208 22 23 333 and see if they get an answer.

Listen, can someone make an intelligent guess as to whether this film
might actually ever make it to the UK?
On another note: ichabod ... when are you updating your friggin avatar + sig!? They are horribly dated now. And if you're not finished with me yet, how come I haven't already suffered some crushing replies?

Since you're not in the UK yourself, just import it from Scandinavia.

I can't.

I don't have a credit card myself, so when it comes to online buying, I borrow a friend's card (with permission of course). Unfortunately, my friend refuses to let me create a credit card account on axelmusic. He/She doesn't want to give away card details on sites other than ebay and play, so I'm kind of stuck. The only way I'll be getting Make Mine Music is if it becomes available in the UK, meaning I'll be able to get it from play. I recently checked ebay for any Scandinavian copies of Make Mine Music, but found none.

Holy snap, that's what I had guessed! I should stop asking questions here so early in the morning.
