ROGER RABBIT!!! You should bring him back, memnv!
enigmawing, how do you make your avatar change itself? That's awesome! Also, I like your Daria fan art, it's really good and looks just like the show!

It's pretty good, JC, but she's blinking really slow (maybe it's my computer?) and it makes me nervous

b/c the Madame Leota tombstone at Disney World at the Haunted Mansion does the same thing. Lol, sorry if I offended you, but it's still really cool. How do you make animated gifs on paint?
I've been wondering for ages so...where the heck do you people go to make those South Park like characters?
ETA: I wwas perusing through the feedback forum and found this ancient thread from 3 years ago. It appears that a lot of the UD provided avatars were
creations of 2099net and Luke had been planning the 100x100 avatar size since 2003!!! Lol it was like opening a UD time capsule, what fun!

Thanks Kram! I got on a kick a while back of putting myself in the style of various cartoons, and I've been compared to Daria before so I just had to do a pic with her.
As for the changing avatar, you can host your pics at
www.randomimages.net and organize them into different rotations for avatars and banners and other stuff.
Oh, and you can build your own South Park character here:

This is me, by the way:

Hi
Kram and
enigmawing!
First things first:
Kram, it's not your computer....she blinks slowly on mine too.
I use a free gif maker which I downloaded from the web, called
Unfreeze.
It's extremely simple. You just feed it the frames you want animated, in order. They have to be in GIF fromat already. So if you made the individial pics with Paint, you can't give them to this program in Bitmap format. You have to convert them to
static (non-moving) GIF in Paint first.
Then you feed them to the program, which creates an animated GIF from the static GIFs.
Being simplistic, the program doesn't allow you to change the speed of individual frames and such like.
By the way,
Kram, don't worry...I'm not offended in the least. Actually, I get a bit creeped out myself when I look at the frame with her eyes closed.

Check it out below. I linked the seperate frames.
Enigmawing, thanks for your offer! Here are the frames:
1
2
3
4
5
6
I placed them in this order in my program:
1,2,3,4,5,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1.
Since the program wouldn't allow delaying certain frames I had to repeat "1" ten times so as not to have her blinking constantly.
Thank you again
enigmawing!

I greatly appreciate it.

This, I think....Is my only Dumbo avatar, but I liked it so much that I decided to use it. It makes a nice change from my usual princess avatars, but due to my current habit of changing my avatar every few weeks or so, I don't know how long it'll stay on for.
Also, I used Enigmawing's link to make this image of myself, I may use it as an avatar soon.

Hey Julian, here's what I came up with. . .
I didn't even realize at first it was slightly cropped (I opened a new image with 100x100 pixels, not noticing that your frames were slightly larger. . . hope that's ok).

Wow! Thanks enigmawing!
What software did you use to make it look so good?
Thumbs up!

Enchantress- That site's fun to play with, isn't it?
Julian- So glad you like it!
I used Babarosa Gif Animator, which was a free download. It's a very basic program but the source material doesn't have to be in .gif format and you can set a time delay for each frame. You also have the choice to optimize the animation so it takes up a little less file space, which I did on Rapunzel.
I've had a bit of fun playing around with it:
Once again, glad you like it! I really enjoyed working on it.

Fidget? Which one is that?
-Aaron
THE DALMATIAN!!!
Here is a few pix of Fidget:
(The toy from McDonalds- yes it does read FIDGET on the back of those Mickey ears- it came that way)

from the vid game

Soundtrack- he's the one on the left "singing"

Middle left ring.
Ever since the live-action movie came out in the 90s- Fidget was my fav. Even if it's not really him- every dalmatian in random pix is da Fidge.

THE DALMATIAN!!!
HOLY TOLEDO!!!! All this time I thought your name was based on the peg-leg Bat with the raspy voice from
Great Mouse Detective!! Boy do I feel dumb!

btw, we have those McDonald's toys too. I don't know what the name of is for mine, but I just called him Hat-Butt because he had a top hat on his butt, lol.
Oh and the only way I can think of to save the Southpark characters is by taking a screen cap (Prnt Scrn button on the PC keyboard), pasting it in Paint, and cropping it correctly.
Speaking of that...here's me! Thanks for the link, enigmawing! Lol, it looks like I'm visiting Enchantress's place.
Julian Carter, thanks for the link! But the frames aren't showing up on my computer...Anyhow, Rapunzel looks much better now and her blinks aren't as creepy (Good job, again enigmawing:thumb:)! Hehehe. Oh, and I sort of borrowed your idea with my new logo parody avatar. I don't know if you noticed, but I put it up yesterday. Hope you like it

!
Also, the Chesire Cat bar thinger is really cool too!

I think it's pretty...especially as it contains pale blue; one of my favourite colours.

I'm not quite sure which logo you're parodizing though, as I don't think I've ever seen that one. Does it have something to do with the parks, or Cinderella?

I posted what I was "parodizing" (is that a word

) when I edited my avatar museum but I'll post it again. The blue in the corner was from the webpage I took the logo from; it's not supposed to be there:
On page 2, I edited my post and wrote:
My current avatar is a parody of the new DisneyParks logo (seen above). If you can't read it, it says, KramNebuer - "Believes Dreams Come True"
Annnnnnnd in case it changes:

haha, you should've stayed for tea! I can imagine a new thread called 'post your southpark-self'

Aww, nuts...I love my tea with Lorna Doones, they're delicious! Too bad I missed out

. I bet someone will start that thread sooner or later, heheh.

Hmm... I see Kram. Now I understand...
Actually, I came across your old post a little earlier, as I was viewing the old pages of this thread, and I realized that you and 2099net are updating your old posts. Though it's a good idea, so as not to muck up the thread with too much pictures, I don't think many people will get to see your updates. I mean, most people will probably always go to the latest page and won't bother about the older pages, and they won't notice that you're actually updating your older posts.

I think you should repost in the last page, so that people won't miss anything, whether they want to or not.
You know, when the time comes for the forum awards, I think it would be wiser to create a new, more organized thread, where we
do not leave comments, but just archive all our avatars of the year, in order, with headings and (optional) explanations. Then it would be easier for users to view the avatars and nominate them.
Also, maybe because of the ginormous amount of avatars there would be (if we ever made such a thread), for nominations, thed'be referred to by their number code, instead of names. I don't know....
Oh...I'm getting more ideas! Everyone would be allowed to post his/her avatars in the avatar museum, provided everything is in order and clear. Also, participating in the thread, means you're taking part in the Avatar Award Ceremony during the Forum Awards. If you do not submit your avatars, then you're not eligible for a nomination.
Hey! Don't you think that's a neat way to decide each year's avatar winners?

Enchantress...I think your animated avatars of Kovu, Alice, Ariel and Pegasus were really charming. Did you make them?
No I didn't sadly, most of them are ones that I found on sites, but there are some really amazing ones on
http://community.livejournal.com/peaces_icons. I love her work on these Icons. I've gotten a few from here.
