I had already had my copy since SATURDAY because I was lucky enough to walk into my local CD store and see a copy of the CD in stock as I walked in. I grabbed it immediately, paid for it, and ran out in total excitement.

The CD is FAAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC! My favorites are Makes Me Wanna Pray, Understand, Still Dirrty, Enter the Circus/Welcome, Candyman, Nasty Naughty Boy, Hurt, Mercy On Me, and The Right Man (wow, SO many songs I love already)!

I see you like a lot from Disc 2. Personally I prefer Disc 1 to 2, however, I do like "Nasty Naughty Boy", "I Got Trouble " "Hurt" (Which is my favourite track off of Disc 2, so far, I love it!) and "Save Me From Myself".

To me, Disc 2 is perfection. It's so colorful, artistic, and she did great capturing those old American music from 60 to 80 years ago.

I'm so in love with the ending of Hurt where it gets to be nothing but the piano, violin, and Christina's high-tone voice (but not belting).

"Ain't No Other Man" left me iffy, but I've just sampled most of the tracks on iTunes and I'll definitely be buying this album now.

Slow Down Baby is my JAM!!! I also like Makes Me Wanna Pray, Back in the Day, Oh Mother, Still Dirrty, Welcome, Candyman, Nasty Naughty Boy, Mercy on Me, Save Me From Myself, and The Right Man. Those are the standouts to me. But as a whole, it is fantastic, so much artistry. It sucks that there is not more music like this in the music industry.

My favorite part is DJ Premier telling the viewers, "There's no good music out there right now. This is a true artist. Definitely knows how to sing. No autotune. *Christina laughs in embarrassment and shyness* A lot of you people who make records do autotune. You can't hold a note when it comes to making records, and you can't do them live either. *points to Christina* I've seen her do her thing. It's going to be a crazy year for her."

Although I don't agree that there's NO good music out right now, there certainly is a lack of it. *Christina and Dixie Chicks are the only two new releases this year I've actually gotten excited about, although it is possible once I heard Janet's CD that I'll be excited. But given how disappointing her last two CDs have been, especially now that I've heard janet. and The Velvet Rope, my expectations are low. :(*

Ok, so, after taking her sweet little vacation from promoting, she recently finished filming her 2nd video for Back to Basics. The new single is "Hurt," from Disc Two.

I still don't know what the video is *about*, but it is going to take place in a circus, and Christina is one of the circus acts (you'll see her landing on top of an elephant's head). The video director is the same as the one who did the "Fighter" video for Christina's last album, Stripped.

Part of "Enter the Circus/Welcome" might play at the beginning of the video before "Hurt" starts, like Christina did for the last video (when "I Got Trouble" was played at the beginning and end). I can't wait for this one!

Here's a picture of Christina on the set and in costume for this "Hurt" video. I think this video has potential to be the best video of the year (wish I could say the same for the last one)! It's so different and artistic. I'm dying to see this one!
