Sorry Kram, there's one less person who's excited for it now, me. I was excited a month ago, but now with finals and stuff (last day of school yesterday) has brought my excitement down. And I think Cars had an affect on it too because I was excited for both things but since Cars was released first, excitement for A! dropped. I know it's two different things, but Cars seems so much more appealing to me right now. It'll go back up soon though two weeks or so before July 25th, I hope. Btw, my signature was made because I was bored, not from my excitement.
Yay, Animaniacs!

Lol, you're excitement probably was transferred to me. I hope you did well on your finals! I still have yet to see Cars...
Yay! Animaniacs on DVD!
ETA: lol, I'll be a monkey's uncle. I made my signature out of boredom too. I'm not really all that excited for the summer anyway, hehehehe.

I've been wondering, does anyone care that this Animaniacs release has absolutely no bonus features except the "Animaniacs Live"?
The Little Mermaid is a different story because they release it about every decade so we need some sort of feature. I could care less if A! came with nothing but episodes. I think we got real lucky for them to announce they will release this. But of course I want a nice cover, case, disc art and menus...and it looks we got all that.

As with the Disney Afternoon shows finally on DVD...It's rather sad, but the joy of having the episodes on DVD outweighs it. It would be great though if future voluems would have substanial bonus features.
Yay! I'm still excited it's coming though!!

Anyone know where we could find the disc art? Amazon.com pasted it with the cover:

There aren't 5 discs, I just photoshopped in two more to fool you guys. So, there are actually only 3 discs.

I am wondering WHY is the Pinky and the Brain set being known as a compilation set and not the frist 22 show? I checked TV.com and it said that it is only 3 shows from being the full seasons 1 & 2 and they were after "The Maze". So whats going on?
Oh and BTW does the Animaniacs set have a Christmas show?

The Animaniacs set includes the shorts of P&TB that used to show during Animaniacs. All other episodes of P&TB, that never were shown in part with Animaniacs, would be put in their own set. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking though.

Well I knew that but they say its a compilation and not the frist 22 shows. Since the A! shorts were out of the P&B show then why are they not saying that its the frist 22 shows and not a bunch out of order?

C'mon, show some intelligence here, you misspelled the word "first" twice. The first time I thought was an accident, but twice in a row, c'mon.
To the blackboard we go: 100 times - "I will not mis-spell first!"

I think you got "compilation" from tvshowsondvd.com? Because that particular news item was written by the site themselves. They've written a lot of news items and I'm sure they would've said "the first 22 episodes" but I think they also wanted to incorporate that Spielburg finally allowed WB to release it on dvd.
compilation: a collection of preexisting materials and data so arranged to form a new original work under the law of copyright
You gotta love dictionary.com.

(Please don't think I'm trying to make you look dumb by putting a definition in. It was because I wasn't exactly sure what it meant and I needed a quote sort of thing to back up my explaination.)

Usually the first week of a new release, DVDs at Wal-Mart are on sale and marked down for a limited time. I went to get Animaniacs and was shocked to see that it was only marked down to $34.86! That's one of the most expensive prices I've seen!!! I went to scan it to see if it was supposed to be $24.86, but no. I want to go to Target or Best Buy before their sale runs out. Has anybody been to other stores with lower prices?

Hey Kram, I just noticed your sig and searched for it on google. I found this site which seems to have the episode. I'm not sure if you'd want to see it now, but I thought I'd give you the link incase you do.
