Because, like I said, if someone were sleeping with their husband/wife but had affairs (let's say hypothetically) with animals, corpses, or children - that would still be wrong right? So when people are lusting after animated characters, while you're right it's not any kind of *violent* danger upon society, we must now assume that they cannot function correctly in society IF we expect people to pay for the crimes of: bestiality, necrophilia, or pedophilia.

I'm not crazy about sounding like this. But this drawing=lust thing is just plain SICK. No two-ways about it. Sure, it may be harmless. But we can't all have our cake and eat it too.

Dear me you really need some air, as i student of law and criminology i can safely say that there is no harm and definatly no danger to society by these people and myself refering to the princesses as 'hot' 'sexy' or attractive to look at after all FUN obviously isnt a word familiar to you. Neither is it in any way acceptable for you to comapre this with those who are attractive to corpses, animals or children! If you want to use the word sick i wouldnt throw the accusation at anyone....maybe look abit closer to home?!

Lazario, I think we just understood things a little differently. When some of us (like me) say stuff like "Yeah, she's hot..." It's not meant in comparission to human women. I'm sorry if it came off as some kind of sick preference. The way I see it, we're just claiming who we think is the best looking female within the animation world. Now, if someone were to point Ariel as the sexiest woman on earth, I'd be right at your side! The way it is now, everyone is just pointing out who they like most in terms of looks with consideration that these are no more than drawings!

This really is a good forum, but I have to admit things like this happen a lot nowadays. Even before, there were quite a few threads that went on and on and on and on over some scandal or misunderstanding.

That is sick. Yes the disturbing, messed-up brain kind of sick. Attractive to look at is one thing, you're commenting on the animation. But to see drawings as sexy is SICK. I will give it to you for now that there is little reason to fear people who do find these drawings sexy. But maybe there's also no reason for us to find people who lust after animals and corpses sick as well. Please enlighten me on how these matters are different? Just because it's a drawing of a person? Not enough. These are certainly comparable to each other, a certain desperation is attached to both. So please tell me how lusting after a picture is less serious and sick than lusting after animals, corpses, and children. Tell me how there is criminality attached to the latter 3 and not the first one.

Well that's where you and I disagree, I guess. All you can say really is that a drawing is that there's no way to physically have sex with it. That's all. And it's not enough.
