Well that stinks! I bought Toy Story 10th Anniversary Edition the day it came out with a slipcover and all, and there was no coupon. No wonder Toy Story 2 wasn't $15.99 at Walmart. Disney was anticipating the use of that $3 coupon.

The $3 coupon was also in Cinderella PE when I bought it.

Just my luck, i spent almost 2 hours trying to get to the mall so i could pick up my TS2. Anyway when i pop the dvd in my dvd player, nothing happens. So then i tried the one in the living room, still nothing. So now i have to go back to get a replacement disc, this sucks. And something that also sucks is the coupon for the TS dvd. It started yesterday(12-26-05 and ends Saturday(12-31-05).

Toy Story 2 was $16.99 at my Target. The price is not advertised it just rings up at the register.

You had a generous Target. I know people that got it at our local Target and it was $19.99.

It's $16.99 in the weekly Target ad. I got it for $13.99 with coupon.

Oh well, I'm over with the whole looking for a better price thing. I'm just glad I got Toy Story 2 overall.
It's cool how even the menus are like the first DVD. The bonus features are great and I can't wait to get into the commentary. I just need to find time to watch it again, haha.

I checked today and Toy Story 2 is 16.99 at my Target!

Oh well, maybe now I'll use the price checkers in the aisles more often.

I got my copy, and the movie looks and sounds fantastic. The menu designs are simple but effective, and the extras are worth looking at. Frankly, I'm surprised this ports over the isolated sound effects 5.1 track (unlike the first movie's SE), but this package is a nice, cheaper alternative to those who haven't got the Ultimate Toy Box. (It also contains the trailer for the Platinum Edition release of The Little Mermaid, in case any of you haven't seen it yet.)

Shoot!!! I had totally forgotten about the coupon in Toy Story (again). I picked it up at Target because I saw it was $16.99 and that was the lowest I had seen it for. I guess I'll just tell myself that I wouldn't be able to get at the $3 off coupon until I get home Jan 8th anyway... and by that time, the DVD won't be on sale anymore so I'd be getting $3 off $19.99.

Well today I tried out all the bonus features(with the exception of the commentary) and while the film, the sound and the picture quality are all excellent, I found the bonus material to be lacking compared to the original's DVD.
For one, the "Making Of" documentary is a whopping 8 minutes long, as apposed to the 20 minute one on the original. There was also nothing that was similar to the "Filmmakers Reflect" on this DVD which was somewhat disappointing!
Also, this is may be a minor complaint, but there were MUCH less easter egss, which I really liked from the original's DVD. I mean on "Toy Story" there were easter eggs on every page that lasted about 2 mintues long!
On here there were only 2: 1 animation blopper(and I doubt there was ONLY 1!!!) and a not very amusing clip of Woody.
And of course, no "Luxo Jr." or even "Tin Toy" which kinda annoyed me since they could've both easily both been on the DVD.
But yet the DVD was still good as the "Behind the Scenes" featurettes were all great and definitely interesting, the DVD just could've been better IMO.
But in the end, I'm still glad to have 2 of the greatest films ever made(animated or non) finally in my DVD collection and that both come with solid bonus discs.

I have a question about Toy Story 2- is it worth getting? I've never seen the movie, as I am hesitant to see Disney animated sequels. Is it a quality movie?

Rest assured - it is a quality movie definitely worth getting. It's every bit equal to the first movie, if not better and much more enjoyable. Frankly, I'd be surprised if you
didn't like it.

Even though I think Toy Story 2 is a decent set, a 10/10 for bonus material is just ridiculous!
The main documentary is a only about 8 MINUTES LONG!!!
It also doesn't include "Luxo Jr." which is a huge loss imo.
I guess some people get pleased in different ways.
