I noticed all the triple pack releases for August 2008 have been removed, although I wonder if it is just a temporary glitch.

Alice In Wonderland going in the Vault

Here's something odd.

We all know that Cinderella or Lady & The Tramp are going back in the
vault.

But now Alice is aswell!

Poor Alice.

But they'll just re-release Alice on BluRay next year anyway,
when the Tim Burton version is out,
so it's not too much of a worry.

But yeah its weird that Disney have randomly started telling people about when things are going in the vault.

First little insert cards, then slip cases on the DVDs, now print ads!

Disney are fun

Since Alice is now part of the Platinum Edition it won't come out in 2009 again ;)

Yes. I saw this carried in both magazines from the papers last Sunday. I was surprised to see "Alice" as one of the titles going back into the vault; it's always been a strong seller (it was readily available on video for many, many years before it was released as part of the Gold Collection on DVD).

Luckily I've got these three DVDs, or I'd have been making a bee-line to my local JB HiFi.

What I think might happen, is that BVHE Australia will re-release the old gold edition once the current version goes back in the vault.

That's what happened with Mary Poppins 40th anniversary collection, and I think that is what will happen here.
