Funny, you say that as I'm playing Billy Joel now.

Not Dylan, but not Demi either.

What the Water Gave Me by Florence + the Machine

I heard it at her concert in Indianapolis and fell in love with it. It was released yesterday and after buying it, I fell in love with it again. Florence songs make me happy :D

Before: TLC- "Waterfalls"
Now: Don Henley- "The Boys of Summer"
Next: Eminem- "Without Me"

So the VMAs happened last night, and from the sounds of it, looks like it sucked. But I've been replaying some of my favorite Video of the Year winners lately. Some very good stuff has taken the Moonman before. Love each of these songs and videos, for one.

His masterwork and his weakest work. Interesting combination. No, I'm not simply parotting the critics, I really think Self Portrait is a mess, though it has some nice songs, like 'Alberta', 'Days of '49' and the new renditions of 'Like a Rolling Stone' and 'She Belongs To Me'. But overall, these covers of mostly antiquated boring country songs are a snooze-fest to me.

There are over a million reasons as to why Maidens' the best, and this song is just one of them. All their facets regarding their power live make up for a lot of them, too.

Agreed. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are easily my favorite classic rock band of all-time.

Good selection.

I'm listening to a guy I might call either the "Bob Dylan of the 90's" or the "Tom Petty of the 90's" :
