Here me out: If Toy Story's DVD/Blu and LD do not look drastically different in the color department-not in the way the BATB does, that's what I'm talking about. True, we dont know what prints the LDs were struck from, but it'd be a step closer than we are now.KubrickFan wrote:Yes, and I've already stated that even comparing two different formats shouldn't be done, since you don't know for sure that the older one is correct.ajmrowland wrote:I was talking about comparing the formats, buddy! Toy Story was just an example of format difference.
That's what I'm trying to say to you. Since they're different movies, they're in different situations. Two prints from the same movie don't even look the same, so why should two completely different movies?ajmrowland wrote: Here me out: If Toy Story's DVD/Blu and LD do not look drastically different in the color department-not in the way the BATB does, that's what I'm talking about. I think the set will include both the original and special edition versions. Disney would be plain stupid not to do this.zackisthewalrus wrote:The runtime on the page is listed as 90 minutes, so I'm thinking that it's the "Special Edition" cut on the Blu-ray. Also, it says "Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy Combo Pack," but I think the DG is an error.

Sorry, I was in a rush out the door earlier, and DG was easier to write than digital copy. I'm not 8 years old, I promise. Speaking of press releases, where have the recent press releases been? I've yet to see one for AIW, GMD, the new Tinker Bell movie, or the Toy Storys anywhere on this site.zackisthewalrus wrote:Don't lose hope yet. Do you mean to say that only the cut with Human Again is on the BR?toonaspie wrote:Dont scare me like that you guystlc38tlc38 wrote: I think the set will include both the original and special edition versions. I have this weird thing were I must have only ONE of every movie in a case.
