Ok, I was at the Disney store again today, and I bought the Adella doll for my cousin. I got this bit of information off the back of the doll's box, and even though I'm not sure if it relates to the movie or not, I thoughbt that it should be brought up here.

Boy crazy Adella longs for her first kiss, but it can't just be anyone. There's one particular mer-boy she has her eye on.

Does this mean that Adella's love life could be a subplot in TLMIII, if indeed the sisters are playing a bigge role?

Also, I read somewhere that Urchin from TLM tv series would show up in the movie, is this true?

I haven't looked at this thread for a while so I don't know if you guys already have this information. But I was reading on IMDB.com under the thread so I don't know how true this is but here it is and if anyone has any information to back this up or even disprove please post...

This will definelty show a little of what is going on, nothing like the tease of the boat. This is all still under wraps, but let me say the most of you have it all completely wrong. It is a very entertaininng story and NONE of you have even come close to what the conflict will be. Ariel will totally be the ball of fire you met in the very first movie, nothing about her has changed from that!
Please don't waste anymore time being negative, wait and give it a shot! "

It's a hoax. Not true. Especially the push back date to Feb 2009.

The third installment of The Little Mermaid franchise will follow the story of Ariel's mother, Athena, and provide backstory for Ariel herself.. The film is essentially a prequel, and is rumoured to also feature a plot point explaining why Triton is against the characters of Ursula. The characters of Melody (Ariel's daughter) and Morgana (sister of deceased Ursula) will not be featured in the film, although her voice actor (Tara Strong) will be playing various other parts.
The movie is pitched as a combination of drama, passion, romance, and despair, all communicated through Disney's classic use of animation and song.

Since when is the movie only about Ariel's mother en does it only gives some backstory on Ariel??!

I thought of a theory about Eric's voice. It's awful, as in pathetic, right now. It sounded like a good idea when I first woke up this morning. Maybe Rob Paulsen just sounds older than Christopher Daniel Barnes, and Eric is supposed to be older now that Melody is part of the picture?

Again, the theory is pathetic.

Especially since Melody isn't part of the picture (A)
