What stinks for me is that last week I bought "The Apple Dumpling Gang" and "The Parent Trap" and paid $9.99 each, and I could have saved $6.00 (but I didn't know about the deal).
Where'd you buy em? Most places have a 30day price gaurentee on stuff like that...go back to whereever with your receipt and the BB ad, and you'll get prolly get the difference (~$6) back.
I bought them at Best Buy. Even though they're open, you think that I could do that? It'd be great if they do, and I can see them doing it, but it doesn't make sense, since I bought them before the sale. I could call the store and ask, though! Thanks for the idea, DaveWadding!

Doesn't matter if they are open...you bought them within the 30 day window...they'll give you your money back if you take in the receipt and the ad.

As long as you have the receipt, they will do a price guarantee on them... It doesn't matter if they are open, since you aren't returning them (I don't even think you really have to have the item with you, as long as you have the receipt, although you might take them anyway.)

Gee, I'd REALLY like to take advantage of this! I have Santa Clause 2, but not the first one!!!! And those Disney live-action classics I need, man! I really want some Dexter Riley DVDs! However, I don't know if I will be able to get any of these, because I have to buy gifts for OTHER people! Ha ha. Maybe if I wasn't waiting till Black Friday to buy gifts, I'd know how much extra I had for myself, ha, but I can't take a chance.

by so it goes
I was able to use some Best Buy Bucks and get Sword in the Stone for only $3.99. Definately a dope deal!

Don't bother calling the store. You aren't trying to return these discs, just take the receipt and a copy of this week's ad, and they will give you the difference back. All Best Buy stores have signs all around, and even on their receipts that say "If you find a lower price within 30 days, we will refund the difference!" That is their 30-day guarantee and it applies to everything from CD's to DVD's to televisions and all big-time appliances.
No need to call, just take the receipt in with a copy of this week's ad. Then you won't be hurting your budget to badly buying "Cars" and some of the 5 for $30 titles.

I'll do that - thanks for pointing that out!
I went to Best Buy this morning, and they gave me $6.40 back- thanks everyone for telling me about their policy. That's the good news. The bad news is they are sold out of each and every title that is on sale. The employee said come back Wednesday morning, since they get new stock in Tuesday at 7pm. I may look online to find a free shipping code or something for bestbuy.com.

They do offer free in-store pickup, so if there's another store nearby that might have the discs, you could try ordering online beforehand to make sure they have them and see if they can be chosen for in-store pickup at certain stores.

Thanks Luke! I just did order online and selected free pick-up, but I selected the store I went to this morning, and I didn't have a problem. So, hopefully Tuesday night or Wednesday morning I'll get an email saying that they have the movies in stock. I feel that this is like a reservation, so they have to save the movies for me.
I got Snowball Express, Flight of the Navigator, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Cool Runnings, and The Strongest Man in the World.

That's not always the case with Best Buy in-store pick-up, but hopefully it will work out for you!

remember and support UD, using in-store pickup

Stupid me didn't see that there is a Best Buy link through UD...sorry about that

.
My store has "Cool Runnings", so I'll pick that up, but the other 4 I'll get shipped free in the mail- it's easier than going to possibly 4 different stores (I moved here 2 years ago, but I still don't know where anything is)...I've been on the phone with a Best Buy worker, who seems new...I'm glad the email mentioned free ground shipping- I'm assuming ground shipping is extremely slow, but it's better than getting aggrivated at getting lost...
I wish the website told me that the DVDs weren't available for in-store pickup. I've been on the phone with this guy and on hold for about 15 minutes so far...if your store doesn't have a DVD, don't go online and order it to be picked up from that store!!! Ugh!!! Even to look up what stores in my area have the DVDs, he'd have to look up the availability of each DVD separately, putting me on hold between each one (after one time of this, I told him just let me have the free shipping...which is taking forever...). Once in a while he'll check up on me, but it's a pain. I love Best Buy, but I don't love this...

Some Disney Treasures on local Best Buy.

I was yesterday at the best buy in Downey, ca. checking the cars dvd prices when I saw a bunch of treasures dvd, including the three titles from the wave five, I finally got the Pluto one, although the tins are not in the best conditions the prices still (strange) 25 bucks per case. For those who miss one of this titles this may be helpful.

Isn't the Narnia 4-disc going out of print, not the 2-disc? Correct me if I'm wrong.
