As the others have said, that was a delicious Andreas Deja interview Aaron! Just one query: do you do your interviews over the telephone or in person? I'm curious. Thanks! :)

Oh, and Escapay, tell ichabod that it is his cue already! :P

Julian, interviews are done over the telephone.

Do you really think they would let obsessive Disney fans near anyone that works for Disney? :P

Iccy! It's your cue!

Anyway, I feel bad for not leaving feedback, but I have been reading all the interviews and (most of) the reviews. As always, they have a consistently high quality and provide informative assessments of the DVDs, as well as very enjoyable interviews. Pink elephants for all!

Er ... yes. What would I give to meet someone like Deja!? I'd probably give him a hug on seeing him.

I'm reading the "Sweeney Todd" review right now. Aaron, I really like the detailed plot sypnosis- since this isn't a movie I would want to watch (too much death!), I'm glad I can have an idea of what it's about! And, let me just say that your writing is great- I think you're a very talented writer!

I enjoyed reading it- great job!

Good review of the Latin America films, but what a disappointing read. It appears Disney is just crapping out films now, with no thought at all towards making substantial packages.

Once again, Disney Home Video happily nails another nail into its own coffin.

The first two Indiana Jones DVD reviews are excellent. They go into plenty of detail on both film and DVD features, and they help buyers decide whether to dip or double-dip on these films. However, the black text on dark red background is really hard to read. You might consider changing the color combination to make it easier for visitors to appreciate the great content.

I found it interesting that none of the reviewers seemed to be particularly fond of the Indiana Jones films (they all expressed a preference for other Spielberg films to one degree or another) and how they all treat these as part of the Spielberg canon when even Spielberg himself considers them to ultimately be Lucas' films. While Spielberg is certainly the director and his visual style is all over them, they match up with Lucas' work much better and I was shocked to see how little he was mentioned in the reviews, given how deeply involved he was in their production. (Far more than just supplying the stories, as the reviews would suggest.)

And I must take issue with the "Last Crusade" review, which states that "It is always a challenge to create a sequel that bests its predecessor. With box office results as a gauge, Last Crusade certainly triumphs over the previous two."

Not only did "Last Crusade" not reach the original box office of "Raiders" ($197M - $209M), it doesn't come close in ticket sales. And even "Temple of Doom" outperformed "Last Crusade" in income adjusted for inflation ($368M - $339M in today's dollars - "Raiders" is at a whopping $606M).

If a reviewer is going to bother mentioning numbers, he should take the time to do the research to make sure it actually supports the point he wishes to make.

I just finished reading all of the reviews from the last two weeks. Luke, Aaron, Kelvin, and Christopher you all did an outstanding job on your reviews.

Perhaps the reviewer was talking worldwide box office, where Last Crusade outstrips the others by $90 million.

I especially loved the comparison of "Cory in the House" to C-Span. ;)

I feel bad for not leaving feedback as often/infrequently as I used to, but I have been reading the reviews.

Great, so now all we need to do is post a pink elephant to show our appreciation for a review. Just think how deep that will hurt Luke at the core.
