It's just so boring to chose the same cover as the rest of the world for a tin exclusive I think... The Canadian steelbook was stylish while this looks like a lunchbox... I don't mean it as insult to Australians so take a chill pill...

I did a bit of investigative reporting today for
DVD Bits, and got this response about the Blu-ray delays:
http://www.dvdbits.com/details.asp?newsid=4715
"
We have decided to remove these from our product release schedules because we have been having quite a few operational issues with acquiring masters and other materials. Thus, we will not be adding Blu-ray titles to our product release schedules from now onwards until we are confident we can meet the specified release date."
In related news, the Disney-released The Game Plan DVD has been moved to July 2.

What exactly is the Pop Up edition of "Enchanted"? How does it differ from the standard release?

Looks like a difference in the packaging only, see the
description at EyzDVD web site.

Well, Region B seems to be getting shafted just as much as Region 2 and 4 ever did. However, on a more practical explanatory path...
As per my comments above, "have been having quite a few operational issues with acquiring masters and other materials. Thus, we will not be adding Blu-ray titles to our product release schedules from now onwards until we are confident we can meet the specified release date."
That said, Enchanted and Hidalgo are now back on for a May release date, a full month after the UK release date!

Too many double packs again.
That seems to be the trouble with most of our DVD companies at the moment. Why do they keep re-releasing the same old movies in double and triple packs? Start bringing out NEW stuff!

The influx of such dvd packs is insane, but I have to admit, I just bought the TARZAN/The Emperor's New Groove/HERCULES triple pack and was very happy with it. The Disney packs seems slightly less tacky than their barebone DVD counterparts.

The Aussie arm of Buena Vista has been pretty good in keeping the R4 Disney releases quite close to their R1 counterparts (we got "Cinderella III" in virtually the same time window as America did).
So hopefully -- fingers crossed -- "Little Mermaid III: Ariel's Beginning" should be released here within a few weeks of the American street-date.

You'll probably find the Enchanted Special Edition has been canceled. But in all honesty it wasn't worth the extra $10 if it's just for the packaging.
