Social isolation would be a lot more tolerable if I had The Weekenders to binge. Seriously Disney+ what’s the hold-up?

That's my same feeling about "Adventures In Wonderland". I would binge all 99 episodes non-stop.

I wonder why the Aladdin TV series isn't on. Is it because of racial/ethnic issues?

It is, although I had to check to find out.

I too want The Weekenders on here. As well as the Aladdin series, American Dragon: Jake Long, Fillmore!, and Pepper-Ann. It'd be nice if any of these get added soon.

If that was the case, then half of the Disney movies would not be shown on Disney+. Maybe they just haven't gotten to it yet. They haven't released "The Wuzzles" yet, either, and probably never will, nor did they release "Shnookums and Meat".

They might trying to pace themselves, they have a sequel to the live action movie coming, maybe they'll wait till that releases.

I understand sensitivity about racial stuff but I hope they don't get too PC in regards to guns and stuff. The fact that they don't have hunting-themed shorts posted yet is a bit worrying.

I'm wondering if the plight of animals may have something to do with this.

That would be silly of them since the hunters always lose in the end.

Bob Iger mentioned that potentially more movies will debut on Disney+ vs theaters (he doesn't say which ones; it's just a possibility at this point):

Well, apparently "Artemis Fowl" is one of them. They apparently had no faith in it making money at the box office, especially now.

It was predicted to get ~$400 millions.

^ Yeah, Artemis Fowl was announced the other day as going straight to D+ but here's *Iger saying there may be more to follow.

The theory is that streaming is a way for studios to control their films, getting more money out of it instead of paying to theaters and distribution and such. Of course it's not something that can be done overnight, but letting the audience gradually getting used to films being released on the service instead of releasing them in theaters. That might be the future of films.

Where did you get that number? It was too early for the film to have been tracking.

I really liked the little animation of the cartoon dogs. I hope those are present in the series and it's not something just done for the trailer.

I loved that, too! I thought about posting this is the hand-drawn thread but figured it fits in here even more...

Does it cost much to put stuff on the streaming service?

I read it in some website long ago, nothing official. It was even before the film was postponed.
