No, it's not. It's a pretty good match to Piage O'Hara and Julie Nathanson's voice does fit the character and she has done a great job with the role so far.
Besides, O'Hara had to bow out of the role because she can't carry the Belle voice as well as she used to.

I think Season 3 is also when we might see Pocahontas and Merida in StF.

If Ana and Elsa aren't appearing until Season 3, why did that article that poster posted here say March 10?

Because people lie on duh internet. It's called trolling.

You could have been a little nicer about it. Also, I checked elsewhere, the episode is called Frost of the Dragon. It says that Sofia meets Elsa/Anna in something called Frost Dragon Lair.

Doing some quick research, I couldn't find much official information on this Anna and Elsa episode. So presumably, they will eventually appear, just not next month. After they get inducted into the Disney Princess line, perhaps.

First of all, I am not 'ragging' on anyone in particular here, but you all do know that "Sofia the First" is for pre-schoolers and little girls from 3-10 years of age, I hope? All of this criricizing about whether or not this princess sounds like this princess or her dress doesn't match the one from the movie, and all that drivvel just seems more childish than those participants in the series.
Every Sofia episode has a great moral to it, such as this past week's episode that found our Princess caught up in jealousy. And as usual she is taught a lesson by those around her and everything works out in the end.
To my little six-year-old granddaughter the only thing that matters is whether the show is a new episode or a rerun. We have over 20 episodes saved on our Cox Contour 6, so she can always watch her favorite episodes. "The Floating Palace" stands out as her favorite at this present time, followed closely by "Blue Ribbon Bunny".
I am 73 years old and totally enjoy sitting with my kindergartner and watching Sofia the First. We don't care who's voice is who's, or whether the characters make sense, or the colors seem off, or whatever it seems everyone her complains about.
Having been around this forum for a lot of years, over 10 for sure, it still amazes me how contributors write things that have nothing to do with a positive criticism of the show or movie or whatever. Just for me, I wish there were more positive contributions to any of the threads here at DVD Dizzy/Ultimate Disney.
This is just my own opinion, and as I have said before, it is just an observation of what it going on in this particular thread. I hope you all understand.

Finally caught Four's A Crowd. I enjoyed it but I was bummed that they shortened Royal Fun down but after listening to the whole song, I can see why, they would do that. Though, I hope they don't do that with Brothers and Sisters in Two Princesses and A Baby.

I hope they don't cut the songs from now on. Hopefully they won't.

Why ? Not when Frozen's ost is doing so well. People seem to like and enjoy Disney things bursting into jokes again.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone bought the Enchanted Feast book and was able to download the song All You Desire? If so, what's the song like and how do you download it? I'm asking because I'm gonna be buying the book and I can't see to download the song myself. Thanks!

I bought it. The song has kind of a tango feel to it and its sung by Miss Nettle.
In terms of downloading it, the book comes with a code which you enter into a website which gives you ANOTHER code on a separate website and then let's you download it. Kind of a pain.
The song is OK, but frankly if that's all you want, I'd wait and download it off iTunes in a month when the episode comes out.

In how many pages is Snow White featured in that book?

I thought the song was sung by SW and Sofia. That's what Amazon.com said. I hope that episode has two songs if that's the case.

I thought it would be based on Amazon, but Amazon was wrong. If what I've read is correct, the episode will be a longer episode like the Floating Palace, so I think the chance for a couple songs is good.

2 with what seems to be a brief cameo at the very end.

Honest to God, I do not watch kindergarten shows, especially this one, but apparently, as I was strolling on the IMDB page of Modern Family, it became a discovery that young Ariel Winter, playing Alex Dunphy... voices Sophia? ... ah. Must've been Modern Family that had Disney decide to cast her for the role. Can't really judge seeing that I don't watch Sophia I. (what, not II or III? Too classy perhaps?) ... why did Disney create this character to begin with? Weren't the regular Disney heroines not good enough for the kids nowadays? Mothers didn't think that adult heroines would be suitable for young kids?! ... sorry, going to shut up about that now.
So much money that young teen is making! (also, Modern Family is great fun, but a bit too over-hyped.)
... (spits soda) Whoa! She played Robin in Batman: Dark Knight Returns?! Damn, didn't think Modern Family would take actors places. Crazy!

I consider Sofia the First a family show. I enjoy it and I think Ariel Winter does an awesome job portraying her. I also love Modern Family and think it's hilarious!

Yep. I watch it with my kids, one who is kindergarten this year, one who'll be in kindergarten next year and one who'll be in kindergarten in a couple of years.
Guess what? They watch TV. Disney caters to them via this show and (rightfully) assumes their parents will buy merchandise because their kids like it. It won't appeal to everyone, and it really isn't intended to . . . if it doesn't appeal to you, move along and find something that does.
I seriously don't get the hate for this show. I find it much more enjoyable than some of their other shows directed at this demographic (like Henry Hugglemonster). Yes the animation quality sucks in comparison to a DAC or even DisneyToons, but then the budget is significantly smaller as well.
For what it is, I think the stories are engaging and the music is good.

What's this? A family with their kids approximately kindergarten age not watching Friendship is Magic? Blasphemy! (oh wait, that's not Disney-related. ... yet it does have a disney-quality atmosphere at times... yeah. Feels like the 90's Disney all over again.

[p.s. Should've ended at Season 3. So good of a Season finale, I can't imagine how S4 were to proceed!... oh damn, I'm going a bit off-topic, aren't I? Back on track:])

God, do I miss the 90's when TV animation was king at the time. Even the kids shows at kindergarten age looked good by the very least! ... yet again, this was before computers killed off ink-and-paint.
I won't say anything else... since I have no plans on seeing this show or others kindergarten age till I become a father and have children of mine that would force me to watch these in order to spend time with the kids. (look, I'm not saying the current parents doing the same may not be enjoying being with their children and try to tolerate pre-school shows.) To those who enjoy this: good for you.
