Is there a specific picture you're referring to about Woody looking worn out? I haven't noticed anything myself but the earlier description of the film did say that Bonnie wasn't treating the toys very well, hence why they leave her.

This pretty much confirms what we suspected. Woody is going to leave Bonnie and his friends. Probably going to adopt Bo's bohemian lifestyle and dedicate his life saving toys who were thrown out with her. Can't say I'm fond of them making Bo the Yoko who breaks up the Toy Story gang.

I really don't want to believe this but it seems like it's becoming more true. Is Bonnie that awful to everyone?

I know Woody in the past was insecure about being old and eventually broken and not the favorite but he learned to overcome it.

All I can say is, last year's film Wreck-it Ralph 2 did it first, the whole "two close friends go in different directions."

But in all the shorts, Bonnie is living her best life with all the toys ? Unless the movie has a huge time jump I suppose ...

The thing is though, they won't separate them in the parks or merchandising etc will they ? They will literally keep everything as is, and probably just introduce new characters. The actual impact of the film will be lost in the day to day running of things, if you see what I mean.

The guide in the post above my last one. Here's a crop of it.

Oh ok, I noticed those scratches but I didn't think they were necessarily because of Bonnie. They looked too faded and old. Since Woody is an old antique doll, I assumed that he always had those and those marks were just more evident now since it's been almost 10 years since the last Toy Story was released and the visuals have certainly improved.

Toy Story 4 Cast List Reportedly Reveals New Mr. Potato Head & More
https://screenrant.com/toy-story-4-mr-p ... or-rumors/
According to Revenge of the Fans, the Toy Story 4 cast includes several actors that have not been officially announced yet. Three of note in particular are Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, and Alan Oppenheimer. Revenge of the Fans speculates any of those could be the new Potato Head, though it's worth mentioning none of their roles are known. Betty White and Carol Burnett are also said to be voicing mystery characters in the film.

I'm actually a bit surprised Disney lets them give all these clues about the ending of the movie. Maybe its purpose is to build expectations or to prepare the audience for the ending, if Woody really parts ways with the rest of the gang at the end, but I don't remember any other promotion where the actors were already talking about the film's ending so early.

I'm sure by Toy Story 5 (which it sounds like Disney is already planning), Woody will be reunited with the other toys in some adventure and choose to remain with them after all.

I actually wouldn't mind a second trilogy. If Andy got one, Bonnie should get one too.

They probably aren't giving much away. Pixar loves to fake left and go right. Even for toy story 3, they seemed to want to lead people to think the movie was going to end with andy taking woody to college and leave it at that. that's where the early screenings ended.

I just want a happy ending where the toys stay together, that's all I ask and I hope you're right.

Yeah, as soon as I read this article, I wasn't even surprised.

That's interesting that they hid the movie's ending. Maybe all of this is meant to mislead us into believing that Woody will be permanently separated from the toys (until of course the next film).

Carol Burnett & Betty White, yay! Love both of them.

It looks as if they were giving too much away, but you're probably right; Pixar must know what they're doing. I didn't know they did that in the Toy Story 3 early screenings. Really curious.
JeanGreyForever wrote:I'm sure by Toy Story 5 (which it sounds like Disney is already planning), Woody will be reunited with the other toys in some adventure and choose to remain with them after all.
That sounds quite likely. If they do another sequel, they'll have to reunite them again. At least during the new adventure, but it's possible the separation (in case there is one) won't be permanent.
Sotiris wrote:I actually wouldn't mind a second trilogy. If Andy got one, Bonnie should get one too.
If it's as good as the first, I wouldn't mind it either.

Pixar released a new clip. The scene takes place before Toy Story 3 in Molly's room.

So... Just guessing here but I assume this is where we find out how Bo got lost in the first place. The RC rescue operation goes wrong and it's Bo (and her sheep) who falls out of the window and down the drain. Possible parallels to the first Toy Story and The Steadfast Tin Soldier?
