Just got back from seeing "Cars" for the seventh time and we decided to watch a movie that we bought several weeks ago -
The Family Stone with Diane Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Dermot Mulroney, Luke Wilson and Craig T. Nelson. Also starring in it was a very skinny ill-looking Sarah Jessica Parker. The movie was a very good film, and well worth the watching. I enjoyed it, and found it a very intelligently made film.

Wow, Bill, seven times! I love
Cars, but, I still haven't seen it a second time. I keep meaning to go, again, but, I just have so many other movies that I've been going to see. If I don't end up seeing it in theaters, again, I'll be watching it over and over on DVD. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!
I have yet to watch
The Family Stone (you've inverted the title), but, my Sister tells me that it was a much better movie than she thought it would be. So, I plan to rent it, sometime.

I've also seen
The Family Stone as well and I would recommend it to you easily. On the topic of films that I've seen recently...
Rumour Has It: An interesting premise is present, yet it does go into the mode of Hollywood cliches a bit at times. Needless to say, worth a watch. 7/10
Kinky Boots: Whilst some may get put off by the idea of a British comedy about people making boots for transvestites, don't. This is a fun British film with a fairly touching storyline that I'd recommend to all. It comes to DVD in America in September, and is worth a purchase. 8.5/10
The Blues Brothers: I rented this due to hearing some of the songs in it, and I'm glad that I did! It's now become one of my favourite films let alone musicals. 9.5/10
Thank You For Smoking A good independent satire on the tobacco industry. It also has a cool opening titles sequence. 9/10
Lost in Translation A good emotional film that was on the UK's Film Four channel (now on free to air digital TV). It does seem a bit slow at times, yet I think that due to the feelings of the main characters, this was intentional. Plus, there are many wonderful moments of psychedelic realism. 8.5/10

I watched some of Big Fish last night. It's a nice little film, but it was a little slow at times. I saw it when it came out in theatres.

Oh Aaron...thanks for reminding me that I also saw that (though for the first time). I forgot to put
Dead Man's Chest in my post yesterday. Silly me! I might post my thoughts in the main thread for that, but for now, I'll just say that I give it a 9 out of 10.

I just finished Object of My Affection. It was ok, but not one of my favorite Jennifer Aniston movies.

I watched All Dogs Go to Heaven earlier today on Toon Disney. It was really cute and brought some very vague memories of watching it as a kid.

Watched
The Benchwarmers today and although I am not a big fan of any of the stars, Rob Schneider, Jon Heder, and David Spade, I laughed out loud through the whole movie. It was genuinely funny, and not filled with tons of toilet humor.

I last watched Bambi II. It's a pretty good midquel, but it doesn't live up to the original Bambi.

I watched The Rescuers on Toon Disney last night. This movie wasn't a part of my childhood the way its sequel was, as I never had The Rescuers on video. I did, however, have the Little Golden Books storybook version, which I remember enjoying. My favorite illustration was of the fireworks coming out of the boathouse as Penny and her animal entourage escape on the swampmobile. Anyway, I saw the movie for the first time in about nine years. It reeks of '70s, but that's what makes it so charming...to me, at least. I really shouldn't - running out of shelf space - but this is going on my DVD wish list.

I've never seen "All Dogs Go to Heaven", but it was made by Don Bluth. How can it possibly air on a Disney Channel?

It aired on Toon Disney, not the Disney Channel. Toon Disney shows all different kind of "toon" movies for youngsters. Even though I watch it peridodically to watch the 2
Rescuers movies.
