Yeah I see what you're saying, but I don't understand why they should be able to love themselves more as ogres than as humans... should it matter? Seems like the human life would be a lot easier for Fiona, if not Shrek.. But hey, it's Dreamworks. What can you expect?

I recentley just saw Will Smith's Hitched in theaters it was all right not as funny ass I thought it would be,but I did love the ending which I wont talk about incase some people have not seen it yet.

That's precisely my feeling. I don't mind Dreamworks movies (altough I'd really LOVE TO SEE that they stop making "clones" of Pixar) and I have them all (except the HORRIBLE Shark Tale). But don't sale them children or family oriented.

And what's most, I wonder where the heck are the critics and adults that question every single adult thing aimed at children. NOBODY CARES!!! Everytime a movie like this comes all say: great for the whole family or ... and the next kids' movie. And I'm like, . For real? Are these people paying a little bit of attention to the screen?


And then Disney made Scar kill Mufasa and that was horrible. Or decided to make Atlantis with violence an the sky would fall.

I watched Thumbelina. Thumbelina is kidnapped by the toad as she wants Thumbelina to marry the toad. Then the beetle wants her and lastly a mouse wants her to marry a mole. The voice of the beetle is the same person who voices Iago from Aladdin.

Saw The Ring 2 last night.

Had some genuine scares, and some interesting moments. I was glad they didn't just repeated the "7 dayyysssss..." thing, and went more for the origin of Samara/different kind of threat.

Still, the first one is better (and a combination of the first US and Japanese versions would make a perfect film).

Alladin 2 & 3... 2 was.. well.. Blah.. 3 was good.

Like all of the WB compilation movies I enjoy them but the shorts on their own are better.

Saw Snow White: A Tale of Terror on the IFC. Man... the film was pretty frightening. XD

I reaally liked it though. The orchestral piece that played during the end credits--must find out what it is!

I just watched Shark Tale for the first time a few hours ago! I wasn't really interested in it at first but once Oscar became the "Shark Slayer" it got really good! Everything was well done except for the kind of corny ending between Lino and Lenny. But Dreamworks actually did a good job on this one.

For about the fourth time I watched "Shaun of the Dead" and then as a second feature we watched "Napoleon Dynamite". Great night at the movies in our Home Theater. And the nachos were warm and tasty as was the popcorn.

Last Unicorn...but in small bits and over and over again...was making music videos

That's the thing about making them, you have to really like THAT movie or tv show, otherwise after watching the same scenes over and over again, you're likely to get sick of it real fast.

I just watched The Notebook. I watch a bunch of DVDs, but I forget to write about it. Anyways, watching it a million times sure doesn't tire me out! I love it! But I'll tell you...after the millionth time, I'm still tearing! Ryan can't understand it (he understood it the first, second, tenth time...but now he's just confused!)..

definitely a cute, wonderful movie that deserved "Two Thumbs Up!"

In a couple of days I watched:

Justice League: Secret Origins; very nice pilot episodes.

The Prophecy; the best of the 3... should have stayed like that.

The Prophecy 2; not a bad movie but the premise was just weak.

The Prophecy 3; the worst of the 3. There was no reason to make this one (as the second). And the final battle was like 30 seconds long... and not even a good one.

Xena: Season 2; incredible season. It sure is a nice improvement over the first one. But I guess the same thing happens with all TV series.

A few days ago, I watched The Origional Cheaper By The Dozen, and it's sequel Belles On There Toes. 2 fantastic movies.

Gone With the Wind. Gave up after half an hour. What a bordom feast!

I saw Ring 2 last weekend as well as share pretty much the same thoughts as you. Definitely worth seeing if you liked the first one. My biggest disappointment was that we didn't see more from super-hot, super-cool Emily Vancamp!

I also watched Passport to Paris last night - certainly not the Olsens' best movie by any measure, but fun.
