some slipcovers go for a pretty good amount online (trading sites, eBay, etc...).
That's because their are idiots who have more money than brains and think that eBay, Craiglist and places like that are collectors heavens. They are not. You need to go to a collector's convention and see for yourself. Also Goldmine magazine is a real good source of collector's memorabilia and you will get a good idea what they sell for there.

I know about these things because I run a collector's show that travels to seven states here in the Heartland, and I know what collectors look for.
Yeah I don't see the point in the insanely high prices for the slipcovers either, but some do. I have no experience with Craigslist... Although I had some good experiences in the late 90s selling some stuff on eBay, but I haven't messed with it much since then. I can usually find what I'm looking for at local shops, or I go with Amazon.

It was a tight year, but I managed to get ONE movie as a Christmas present:

And this one I picked up myself this week for 9.99 at Best Buy:

I do wish Blu-Rays that incude DVDs would be clearer about it these days. I was very confused on the Scott Pilgrim one, as with the Sucker Punch one I got a while back that I THOUGHT included a DVD but didn't (as with the recent, animated Green Lantern movie I haven't gotten around to picking up yet but I think DOES include a DVD). As you can see, the Scott Pilgrim one, though it DOES include a DVD version, doesn't mark it anywhere (except maybe on the slip cover it didn't have when I bought it). I was relieved to find one inside, because here at my mom's house where I'm visiting right now, I don't have a blu-ray player. I'm having to wait to watch Sucker Punch, the one I've never seen before and was really psyched about.
