And by the way
When you say "don't take THAT synopsis as gospel." Which synopsis are you referring to ?
What is it you call wrong and missing stuff ? Songs ? Story ? Which part ?
I myself have not been speaking about any storyline lately , only songs..
PS : Menken reprises, as i said, are oftenly awesome, and i am happy you confirm that. Thank you !

I saw the above items at Wal-Mart yesterday and the brush plays about 15 seconds of the song "When Will My Life Begin?" ...not enough to get a good review of the full melody, but what I heard sounded very cute.

There was no such song in the test screening I saw. That rumor came from a Comic-Con attendee IIRC, and from the sound of things, he was actually seeing a clip from the tavern number.
Well I was at Comic-Con and that was what they told us the title of the song was at least!

Everybody seems to be working off that IMDB synopsis that was posted earlier on this topic. If I'm mistaken in your case, I apologize.
And I try very hard to avoid spoiling that which has not yet been spoiled.

Yeah, I know. I've had that confirmed by several sources. Nevertheless, the description matches a verse of the tavern song, and it's definitely not called "I Can't Sing."
The more I hear about that Comic-Con panel, the more I wonder about it. Either the panel participants were ordered to tow the marketing department line or else, or there have been some "unfortunate" changes since May 25th.
I'm assuming the former, although I'm not sure how I feel about that. If we can't even get the straight scoop from the directors at a panel at Comic-Con, how are we EVER gonna get the straight scoop?
(Not to mention, what's the point of even going to panels at Comic-Con? I can get the same marketing stuff at home, which is much less crowded and has better food and more comfortable chairs.)

I wish I could post it, but I didn't actually purchase the brush. There is no singing though, just a little midi file of the melody. I just posted the info in case you're in a toy store and want to hop over and check it out.

Yeah, I was at that panel (the point of going, for some, like myself

, is to hopefully see some exclusive footage, which most panels show. Tangled was no exception) and they
never mentioned a song title. They said the vikings/thugs/whatever they are tell Flynn to get up and sing to which he responds, "I don't sing." After some threatening, he ends up atop the bar and begins with something about how he isn't sentimental or something like that? It was a month ago, so forgive me if I'm wrong there.
They cut the clip short to show us the longer version of the scene in the trailer, after Rapunzel knocks Flynn out with the frying pan. It was adorable and I can't wait to see the rest.
But, the point is, as far as I know, no misinformation was given at the panel, it's just people's memories playing tricks on 'em.

More likely you'll hear boys in the theater say "eww." and the girls say "aww..."
I'm still waiting for the "manly" marketing...

And does anyone notice that Princess and the Frog marketing was more geared towards boys?

OK. I'm a guy and I think that image is cute. From the looks of it it seems like Pascal will be the put-upon comic relief character (a la Flit, Abu, or Donald Duck).

Nope, that's exactly what I remember too. Comes late in the tavern number. The tavern number, by the way, is awesome.
So here's my other question ... did they did, or did they did not, show the Octo-Hair fight and/or represent it as being in the movie? Cause I don't think it was in the version I saw.
