I searched but didnt find this reported earlier, but according to digital bits the bluray will have "living menus" that features a real-time castle environment that changes based on your location. Sounds cool, I wonder how it would change.

I love the trailer. Yes the voices are different but its just really cleverly put together. Love the design of the site too. Can't wait for this dvd! I have the old edition but it will soon be passed on to my niece cause I am so getting this upgrade just for me

The so-called "sneak peek" on that site was just 5 minute condensed version of the movie. All of Maleficent's "scary" lines were cut out...

You're wellcome and if you go to the sneak peek you"ll see that the new voices are only in the trailer (Like Disney Villain-I think that the characters will talk to us in the menus).

Yeah,the sneak peek was lame,just a few minutes version of the film,I thought they"ll features or something,it remins of the Cinderella III and Ariel's Beginning sneak peeks on their websites ,and also about Maleficent-"She shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel" "Oh no!" Yeah,oh no,she"ll touch a spinning wheel .

Yes, Disneykid, of course I observed it's the wrong way. It's also weird that it's completely pink, not pink shreds over white. But that's just it, I like new interpretations of my favorite scenes. Like the magic that drips down "paints' on the transformation. It also works better transforming from the top down for the cover I designed because Cinderella's ball design is iconic and should be seen more prominently than the pink rags which disappear underneath the title.

Yes, it does! And I love it! They also did this, I think for the first time, with the original VHS cover from 1988. The magic is painting the pumpkin into the coach:

My all-time favourite Disney film... one of the worst covers in my opinion.

Being on model and having wrong colors isn't an intended "direction". But the movie is very blue. Maybe if Cinderella's dress was more silver and the castle more purple the cover would be less blue.

Hey, did anyone notice, "SEE MORE THAN EVER BEFORE IN THE EDITION YOU'LL NEVER OWN AGAIN"?

Does that mean they'll never release this same edition again, just like "limited time only", that they'll never release the same bonus features again, or that they will never make another edition of the movie (which sounds impossible)?!

I know about that cover,I have that tape! it looks werid but I like it which cover is your favorite? (and Cinderella and Prince Charming looks off-models in the covers that they're dancing-like I said,Prince Charming Looks like he has lipstick,he looks like The Prince from Snow White ).

Actually I didn't like the VHS tape cover (also the back cover show The Duke,The King,Jaq,Gus,Lady Tramine,Drezilla,Anastasia and Lucifer in the same garden where Cinderella cried and the Fairy Godmother came and Lady Tramine has pink dress (light pink,like Aurora's dress!) and Drezilla with light blue dress,the mice are making faces to Lucifer and The King and Duke are shocked to see that the slipper doesn't fit Anastasia),The PE is the best .
Prince Charming does looks he has lipstick when he dance with Cinderella but Cinderella was also off-model.
I loved the cover with Cinderella holding the slipper .

Yes Ariel'sprince, but when they are obviously intentionally trying to do something different, like have characters where they never were or doing things they never did, it's unique and a way of seeing the characters as you haven't before. Sometimes people need to use their imagination! When I was younger I didn't like things being different from the movie, but now I do. Which is why I sometimes like when Aurora is asleep in pink, although it would make more sense if she was awake and looking at Phillip while in pink. In the film, I think pink represents life/healthy color in our bodies, blue represents death/sleep/night. That is why Aurora's dress starts out pink, is blue while she's under the curse, and is pink again for her happily ever after. So I think, but it makes a lot of sense.

It's not that it isn't what happend in the film (And it makes it funny that Jaq and Gus has enough time to make faces to Lucifer when The Duke finds out that the slipper dosn't fit Anastasia),the colors are worng and I prefer the PE cover since it's really the most memorable part of the film.
I also prefer Aurora's pink dress and agree about the colors,I also think a pink dress is more original then a blue dress.

All I can say is, sweet! I assume it will be the 1957-1977 version and not the one that had giant Barbie figures and was closed in 2002.

Wait,so the castle walk-through will be just a feature about the Sleeping Beauty castle in DisneyLand? it's only in the DVD version? I thought it's virtual castle .

It will probably be on the Blu-ray too. It's a virtual recreation of the castle walk through attraction which has been closed for a few years now.

OMG! This news just completely made my day! I heard so much and seen so many pictures of the Sleeping Beauty walk through and always had wanted to see it, both the original Eyvind Earle version, and the post 1977 redo. But by the time I had gotten out to DL in 2003, I found out they had closed it two years earlier. I'm so happy they decided to put a recreation of it on the DVD, and knowing that Tony Baxter himself is such a big Sleeping Beauty fan, I'm even more excited that he's participating on it. I can't wait!
