There is a clause in German law that allows Nazi imagery to appear when the use is of significant artistic or educational merit. A 2017 video by YouTube channel Censored Gaming and a more recent video by YouTube channel Newsy related to this matter can explain better than I can.

I really dislike these lists of randomly selected shorts. Why not focus on a spesific type for cartoons instead, like Silly Symphonies, Mickey or Donald, or from a spesific time era, like the 30s or 40s? Or even better, all of them, at least everything released between 1928 and 1956. Then the remaining materials, including what was made for TV and shorts like Glago's Guest, can be added later. But hopefully not too far into the future.

If not, they should be made available on DVD.

I agree, all the Mickey shorts should be grouped together, all the Donald ones, the Goofy ones, the Pluto ones, the Silly Symphonies ones, etc. It's way too confusing and cumbersome to have to search up each short by title especially if you want to watch them in chronological order. The same applies to the Forky shorts.

Here is a list of everything coming to Disney+ UK, courtesy of Cord Cutters News.

But let me make one thing perfectly clear: The UK gets Sofia the First before we do?! THAT'S BULL!

I can understand if they would leave out these shorts though

El Terrible Toreador
Cannibal Capers
Pioneer Days
The China Plate
Mickey in Arabia
Trader Mickey
Mickey's Mellerdrammer
The Steeplechase
Mickey's Man Friday
Der Fuehrer's Face
Education for Death
Commando Duck
African Diary
Californy'er Bust
Plutopia
Spare the Rod

Another than that. I think atleast 90% of the shorts should be added.

Ironically, I just read on IMDB that the subtitles translating the Nazis' dialogue in the U.S. release has been omitted.
I just checked the movie on Disney Plus to be sure, the subtitles translating their dialogue is still there. Also, how can you edit the movie to remove the Nazis? That’s pretty much cutting the entire climax.
They had apparently done it when the movie was originally released in Germany in 1972. There is a German Disney site called Duckfilm.de that can explains so. It's all in German, but basically, what happened was that 20 minutes had been cut to remove the Nazi invasion. I'm not sure how it works, either, but they did it. Since then, however, the movie was eventually released in its entirety in Germany.

And yet, they do have "Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip", in which, at one point, Mickey and Pluto try to fool Pete with a Native American disguise. Mickey even says in a deep voice, "How!"

Also, you might want to add to your list "Pluto's Dream House" (the genie in the lamp speaking like Rochester of Jack Benny fame), "Crazy With the Heat" (the Arab stereotype that threatens Donald and Goofy with a scimitar), both "Tea For Two Hundred" and "Uncle Donald's Ants" (the ants acting like tribal natives), and "Hello Aloha" (the native islanders).

In addition, I noticed a conspicuous absence of any cartoons featuring hunting of any kind:

-The Moose Hunt
-The Duck Hunt
-Moose Hunters
-Polar Trappers
-The Fox Hunt
-The Whalers
-The Pointer
-Tiger Trouble
-Foul Hunting
-Father's Lion
-Rugged Bear
-No Hunting

Did I miss any?

What's odd is that some of these shorts were released in the "Have a Laugh" series, as well as featured on "Treasures From the Disney Vault" on TCM.

I was thinking of shorts were the stereotypes are the center of the plot. But yeah Pluto's Dream House would probably have to be on the blacklist. "Crazy with the Heat" was played on TV in the 90s but maybe more problematic today due to 9/11.

I also think "The Old Army Game" may have to be blacklisted due to Donald's attempted suicide and "Donald’s Dilemma" and "Clown of the Jungle" may need to be edited.

Variety.com is reporting that Disney+ has gone live in India three weeks ahead of schedule, under the name Disney+ Hotstar (Hotstar being the name of a pre-existing Disney-owned streaming service in the region).

But this was not about which cartoons they will not, or shouldn't show, it was about what cartoons they're going to make available at all.

I haven't seen all the shorts here, but I don't consider them problematic. Education for Death is more like an educational short. Der Fuehrer's Face was not pro-Hitler, it was the other way around. I can't see what's wrong with Plutopia. Spare the Rod may be politically incorrect, but the cannibals portrayed in the movie have never existed in real life, only on drawings and in animation.

I just think Donald in Nazi uniform may still be to much for them.

Anyway, here's how I would organize the classic shorts:

Mickey Mouse Collection
Row 1: Black and White 1928-1931
Row 2: Black and White 1932-1935
Row 3: Color 1935-1938
Row 4: Color 1939-2013

Silly Symphony Collection
Row 1: Black and White 1929-1932
Row 2: Color 1932-1935
Row 3: Color 1935-1939
Row 4: Bonuses (one-shot cartoons made after Sillies and into the 60s, e. g. Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom)

Donald Duck Collection
Row 1: Chronology 1936-1941
Row 2: Chronology 1942-1946
Row 3: Chronology 1947-1950
Row 4: Chronology 1951-1959
Row 5: Bonuses (Chip n' Dale and Humphrey Bear solos)

Goofy Collection
Row 1: Chronology 1939-1949
Row 2: Chronology 1949-1961

Pluto Collection
Row 1: Chronology 1937-1947
Row 2: Chronology 1947-1951
Row 3: Bonuses (Figaro cartoons)

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Collection
One row of all 19 surviving cartoons
