I am defiantly pulling out my wallet and seeing this movie because its just sounds that good.I mean I think this will defiantly get Disney a nomination for Best Animated Picture.I mean it could even compete with Dreamwork's "The Guardians" and Pixar's Brave for the award.

Q: Can you tell me about any upcoming projects that you're doing?
Stefanie Scott: I have a new animated Disney film called Wreck-It Ralph, and I get a voice in that! I love doing voice-over, 'cause even though you're not seen, it's kind of fun to get to do different things with your voice! It's really cute. I'm so excited!

EDIT: I was advised by a person affiliated with Disney Publishing to remove the images I had posted earlier here, so I have. Sorry, guys! Instead here's a recent
interview of John C. Reilly talking about
Wreck-It Ralph.

Cool boxy design for Ralph!
I like his face. Who does he remind me of?
I'm pleased with the designs. They're certainly appealing.

I've been in love with Vanellope from the second we knew about her. I hope she's going to be as adorable as she is in my mind! (But whoa- in this pic she looks just like a mini-Sarah Silverman. I mean, I know it's her voice, but the concept art didn't look this Sarah Silverman-y.

But she's still adorable.)
Thanks so much, as always, for posting, Sotiris!!!!

He reminds
me of Harold in the Hey, Arnold! cartoon show.

The kid could look something like Ralph as an adult if he exercised regularly and cut out junk food.
The film is shaping up good. I look forward to seeing it.

Sotiris, any idea why they're keeping everything so tightly under wraps this close to the launch date? I mean we're 6 months away from release and there's next to nothing out there (at least authorized to be out there).
I mean at this point, the Disney Store was practically selling Princess and the Frog merchandise (ok, not quite . . . but still)
Are they ashamed of something? Or are they trying to build suspense? It just seems counterproductive in an age of viral marketing to not build more buzz. Show a teaser trailer or something.
But I needn't get into Disney Marketing's many misses as of late . . .

I have no idea. Personally, I find it unreasonable and counter-productive. They're doing themselves a disservice by not marketing the movie earlier on to build up buzz. They missed a great opportunity by not releasing a teaser trailer in front of the Avengers.

I want to believe they're going to have a big launch at E3 in a few weeks for the movie, but I doubt Disney Marketing is smart enough to use such an appropriate venue.

I can pretty much guaruntee that they're trying to keep Brave in the spotlight until it is released in theatres. My guess is that Ralph (and whatever trailer they have ready) is going to generate huge buzz and they know it, so they are waiting until Brave hits theatres to launch the campaign. I would bet my life that the trailer will premiere with Brave in theatres. It may not be the best move for Ralph, but for Brave, I bet it is. I'm assuming Ralph will garner so much attention that it won't even need one of the more extravagant advertising campaigns. We'll see in the coming weeks.

Oh, with Disney's rep today, it *will* need all the advertising it can get.

He is such a sweet heart that I can't even imagine him being truly evil.I think in his game he is more of a designated villian because of the fact they did bulldoze his home and built an apartment over it.So,I would be mad to if that happened to me.Then again the gentle giant archtype is a very old trope.
