Sony I don't absolustely dread, Radiance I expected (though not as much), but PlentyofFish.net made me angry. I thought it was awkward on Telephone and We R Who We R, but this was just too much.
Well, Telephone was a stupid video anyway, so I forgave it. We R Who We R was a disaster, mostly because of that kind of thing. And I haven't seen Britney's new one. I think I'd rather just hear the track. Which I will, eventually. I guess Pof must just have a lot of money to donate to these artists'. God, I never thought I would see the day when something like this happened. I mean, music videos were sell-outs from Day 1. But, that sponsors would pay... I'll stop myself there, because I just have this feeling that everyone else is going to say: D'UH! They expected it all the time. But, then- why did it take so long for this to start happening? Pretty soon, nobody serious will even respect music videos anymore.

I think it's got to do with Jonas Akerlund (director of all three Telephone, We R and HIAM).

Maybe he signed a contract with them. Or it's his signature

Actually, I checked, he did not direct We R Who We R. Then again, I checked on Wikipedia.

In case you haven't already heard it, there is a snippet off what cuould very well be her next single, I I I Wanna Go O O.

It sounds so much better than Hold it Against Me, it sounds original yet familiar. Kind of like Madonna's Hung Up.

Jonas Akerlund's trademark is extremely fast cuts. Most of his videos would be far more coherent if he ever allowed a shot to last more than 1/4 of a second. I mean I love what he does, but I'd like to be able to appreciate it more, and it's hard to do that when you can't absorb any of the shots. The concert films he's done with Madonna are the same way. I loved the DVD of The Confessions Tour, but it can be extremely bothersome sometimes when you'd like to absorb what you're seeing and you can't because right when you realize what you're seeing, he cuts away to another shot. I think he assumes we all are too ADD/ADHD to sit through a whole second of a single shot.

Hear Britney Spears' New Single 'Till The World Ends' (Listen)
What happens Britney Spears and Ke$ha team up? The result is almost apocalyptic. Britney's new tune, "Till The World Ends," is co-written by pop's party queen, and is the second release from her upcoming album Femme Fatale.

Till The World Ends is now available on iTunes:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/till-t ... mpt=uo%3D4

While I'm not crazy by the fact that it sounds like Enrique Iglesias's latest works, this is kind of a really cool dance anthem. The fact that Ke$ha wrote this worried me a little.. a lot, but now Britney's producers really cleaned it up. Also, the lyrics are not to "K-Monay", still some lazy Dr.Seuss rhymes and repeat sounds with auto-tune, but she did a pretty good job on this one.

Does anyone else but me think her 2001 album Britney is criminally underrated? It is my second favorite album of hers, second only to Blackout.

I think the whole Britney era was my favorite, I used to have that huge Pepsi tour banner poster on my wall.

I'm more of an In The Zone kind of guy. But Britney did have the Dream Within a Dream Tour, which is without a doubt her best. Femme Fatale is looking more and more like a Britney follow-up so you should be happy.

In The Zone definately her best IMO.

I can listen to that record every day, only song I dislike is Shadow.

My favs..in order.

01. In The Zone
02. Blackout
03. Britney
04. Circus
05. Oops!...I Did It Again
06. ...Baby, One More Time

From what I've heard so far FEMME FATALE will prolly rank between Blackout and Circus.

Criminal sounds awesome...

You know, I haven't really listened to In The Zone much since it came out as I remember not being as impressed with it as her previous 2, but I'm listening to it now and it's grown on me quite a bit. I guess it was so different from her previous albums at that point that I just wasn't ready for it yet.

I just heard the new album, it is amazing! I obtained it on the internet through... alternative means, but my copy's on pre-order so it's all good. (:

It's very electro heavy, which is good to me since I am very into electronic music. I like it better than Circus.

I haven't decided which track is my favorite yet.

Loathe:
Big Fat Bass- will.i.am ruins all music!

I downloaded it today (I pre-ordered on iTunes and I'm buying physical copies) and I'm about to give it a listen. I've already heard tons of snippets and previews, but it's great to finally give it a a cohesive listen. Very excited. Not excited about Big Fat Bass.

But I will rank the previous albums to my taste:

1. In The Zone
2. Blackout
3. Britney
4. Circus
5. Oops!... I Did it Again
6. ...Baby One More Time

I will admit, Blackout is probably her best work, I just love the sex sound of ITZ and the fact that I can tell she put so much work into that album.

LOL, I am in full hype mode for this album!!! Despite that I've already heard the main album, I still cannot wait to hear the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition. I just bought new copies of Blackout, Circus, Oops!, and ...BOMT to replace my old worn out copies. Geez, that's almost her entire discography I just re-purchased, lol.

Can anyone tell me which of her Live DVD's is the best in terms of performances? I don't have any of her DVD's except for the My Prerogative disc, I was thinking of getting either Live & More, Live in Vegas, or the In the Zone DVD.

The only one I own is Live From Las Vegas, which I think is probably the best choice. Dream Within a Dream Tour is pretty much amazing. It's worth the money just for the Oops!... I Did it Again opening number.

By the way, the bonus tracks have also leaked. I haven't listened to them because I do wanna save some hype for the actual release.

Bsides Good Morning America, Britney is apparently scheduled to appear on Ellen, Kids' Choice Awards, and other means of promotion... I'm excited :D

Oh really? I didn't know the bonus tracks were out yet but I think I'll just wait till the album comes out.

I was listening to the deluxe edition of Circus and I actually really like the bonus tracks on that album. I didn't have the deluxe edition until today, Phonography is my favorite.

Is this 'ditzy, blonde, no-talent' still around? I am surprised that she still has a following since she is definitely not a very good role model for any teenager, much less any young adult.

There is much better music out there, and many better people doing it than Miss Spears, who in my opinion, has out-lived her 15 minutes of fame.

Funny 15 minutes ... shes been around, and consistantly successful, for a decade and then some. Before you spew your negative rubbish, take stock of what shes achieved before you have a go for no reason.

The only album I own by Britney since her early days is the one with “Overprotected” (one of my favorite songs of hers, btw). And I bought her greatest hits album, which I really enjoyed. I mean, I’m not Britney’s biggest fan, but she occasionally has good songs, and they always fit her limits. Of course, I’m not crazy about some of her newer stuff (I really hated “Toxic” back when it was out). Tbh, I like her more for her personality than anything. :)

I remember I loved loved that song a while ago, “If U Seek Amy” or whatever it was called. Was that from her Circus album? I never did buy that, but I might pick it up. I’ve listened to her new song, and it’s decent. If I had more money, I would probably buy the newer albums I don’t have. But you have to pick and choose sometimes. :P
