Oh wow, Old Fish Tale, that was fantastic! I loved everything about that preview! I love that Bobble and Clank get bigger roles, and that even Vidia reveals that there is "something inside of her that is good!" The cat's face reminded me a little bit of Lucifer for some reason, and I also liked that Tink's posse's Summer-wear is the lovely dresses from the "Bee's Eye" Pixie Preview!

Does anyone else think that the little girl could be a reference to those girls around the turn of the century who tried to take (and eventually fabricated) photographs of fairies?

Having watched it again.... There is one thing that bothers me a little bit. Okay, I get it, everyone's getting in on the act. Her four friends, her two fellow tinkers, even Vidia. But where in the Sam Hill is Terence? Doesn't his role in "Lost Treasure" elevate him to bff-status? Shouldn't he be out there trying to rescue Tink with everyone else? Oh well... I'm sure there's a reason for everything...

Ugh, really? I thought the ad said that you purchase the movie. Then I'll be buying it at Target. I didn't even look into the game though. Maybe I should, though I can't afford both right now.

Edit: Just took a second look at the ad, and it says free when you buy the DVD, Blu-Ray OR the video game, so should be good! :D

I went in yesterday to see if my store was still taking pre-orders, and they seemed to have stopped going that. Is it a coincidence they stopped taking them on the day the ad comes out?

Ouch!
Does anyone else think the review for TBatLT was a little harsh?

just saw the movie. i think this time the story has more depth than the first one, which is good. altho i think the trolls were unnecessary.tinkerbell is evolving more into her initial characteristic in the peter pan movie, even tho the voice still takes time getting used to, and im a little disappointed that vidia didnt have any lines.her voice is unique!can't wait to see the next one which looked equally interesting from the trailer. :)

I agree! Ultimate Disney gave bad reviews to the best films from the DisneyToon Studios! Those are just opinions!

Oh, no, I'm not bashing the review. It was very well-written, and he got his point across very well... I'm just saying it seems a little harsh... No, I haven't seen "Lost Treasure," but I just bought it an hour ago and plan to watch it tonight. I have seen the original, though, and I thought it was much better than this UD review (or its own) gives it credit for.
Personally, I'm not much of a fan of DisneyToon's work. I looked down my nose at DTV films all of the time. But, having taken a chance on "Tink," I found it extremely delightful. Yes, I thank John Lasseter's help with the retooling for that. If he hadn't come onto the project, it could have been a disaster. But I don't think it was "forgettable" at all.
It is not just about marketing or merchandising.... It is a good film in its own right, despite the fact that it was released directly-to-video. They did their research, and that shines through. It isn't perfect, but it is highly enjoyable. I could watch it again and again.
This is just my opinion, however. Everyone seems to think opposite things with almost any Disney film....

Just used the coupon successfully at Target. They weren't going to let me use it... I was informed that the coupon was for Tinker Bell AND The Lost Treasure, and since I was only getting one of them, I couldn't use the coupon. But she eventually figured it out.

And yes, I too hope similar coupon treatment continues for Up and soforth, because I fully admit that the only reason I have any recent Disney Blu-rays is because of these coupons.

They gave me a hard time about it at Wal-Mart this morning. I honestly didn't think they were going to let me use the coupon, but after several calls to verify and a half hour of standing in line, they did.

'Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest', 'Tinker Bell' and 'Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure' are the ones I like...
