Very interesting info, BDF. I personally do find the 'legacy deals' excuse questionable. There is no Disney content on Netflix, so I don't see how a movie like The Three Musketeers cannot remain on Disney+ if it is not available anywhere else.

In any case, if Disney+ ever becomes available in my country I may give it a go to satisfy my curiosity but I don't see myself paying a monthly fee for it. I may just login to view the Pixar Spark Shorts and the WDAS Short Circuit Programme Shorts and call it a day.

There are hundreds of deals that can be made, not just with Netflix. There is no reason to think that just because it isn't on Netflix then it isn't anywhere else and you, no being from the US, surely don't have access to all the potentially involved libraries to say it isn't available anywhere.

To say that any of these titles were the cause of any potential drop in subscriptions is laughable and yes, Disney very much has always said that legacy deals would be honored with titles leaving the service for that (as evidenced by the Marvel movies that were confirmed to be leaving for Netflix how long ago?). People just want to be outraged at something.

In the same vein, has Pecos Bill smoking in "Melody Time" likewise been censored as well? I remember a post on this thread here that it was intact (and me getting excited about it).

I just checked the movie on Disney Plus to be sure, the subtitles translating their dialogue is still there. Also, how can you edit the movie to remove the Nazis? That’s pretty much cutting the entire climax.
