Beauty and the Beast upgraded previous digital owners to the new Signature Collection bonus features, but that was - I'm assuming - a one-off.
Pinocchio's digital availability had been completely barebones before the Signature Collection release, so I'm guessing because it was a while between the releases (2009 v 2017), it too got the upgrade with new bonus features.
Bambi and
The Lion King, however, haven't be upgraded for previous digital owners unless they buy the new version. There are two different pages to differentiate between the 2011 release and the 2017 release:
Bambi: Diamond Edition
The Lion King: Diamond Edition
Bambi: Signature Collection
The Lion King: Signature Collection
I'm guessing this is Disney's way of ensuring people continue to buy. It's nothing new considering the jump from VHS/LD to DVD to Blu-Ray almost always saw a loss of a bonus feature or two in order to gain a new one. The Laserdisc documentaries on those two titles have never made it to DVD or Blu-Ray, and heck, even the 2011 documentary for
The Lion King has now been relegated to digital rather than back on the disc again. Which is ironic given that the "extended" conversation on the new disc is literally just made of unused portions from that 2011 documentary.
Disney, you so cray.

My DMA shows only three as well. However, I'm happy to report that the digital copy in iTunes was upgraded to the latest release i.e. it features all bonus features, including those new to this edition. (the movie itself, is still missing the cloud under the starry sky though)

I have a question. Will the Lion King Sequels that are being re-released have the same bonus features as the last time or will there be new ones. That's what I'm wanting to find out before taking the plunge and all.

I'm really curious to know if this will be a new master or not. Namely I want the missing mufassa cloud back in that shot.

Word.
When
Moana was released on Blu Ray earlier this year, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had several bonus features, while some of them being quite substantial (and even an Audio Commentary, which Disney seemed to dilute recently). And last years
The Jungle Book by Jon Favreau had at least a couple of bonus features that were quite in-depth and elaborate. So I thought they could put the same effort into their Signature Collection, but obviously I was wrong. It's an outrage that the one of the new featurette is an extended conversation from the last documentary. While it's neat on it's own, why not making some new, more substantial bonus features? I guess my purchase of the Signature Collection was wasted money.

Not necessarily. The clouds have been restored.

I did purchase the Signature Edition and I have two versions in my Disney Movies Anywhere. The old one and new. But on my iTunes account only one. I did want the new Editions for the new features and the cloud fix plus the goodies on Disney Movies Awards, which I ordered last night lol.
I'm just not buying the sequels! I refuse. I do want to find the digital codes though.

I cracked and bought the sequels. My reasoning was that I bought the 2012 releases used so they didn't come with DMR codes, and I wanted the digital copies. Plus, I had lots of store credit left at FYE so even though I overpaid for them it didn't cost me anything out of pocket

I haven't watched the discs yet though, are they the same as the 2012 releases?

Thanks for the information Escapay and geniuswalt.
Despite having (like others here I expect) the vhs, deluxe vhs, deluxe LD, dvd, blu-ray and blu-ray 3-D, I somehow convinced myself to buy the Signature Edition!
If there are to be two entries on DMA I wish the cover art and movie copies would not update. oh well...

I have no intrest in picking up the new Lion King Blu-ray unless its the theatrical cut of the movie.

I believe they are just repackaged from the 2012 editions. But the 2012 did not come with digital copies so you did the right thing by purchasing them.. well use your FYE credit lol. I do like the covers though. Oh well lol.

^oh, it would have been cooler if everybody got a different scene. Though personally I would have preferred a concept art print like the nice one we got with the Bambi disc.
