It's a wiki.I do generally trust them but they are not in any way official sources. The guys who updated it with this info did not have access to info we don't have, the bit about Anna being cursed first was in one of the first sypnosis released, reported originally by Bleeding Cool I think, and I have reason to believe that it may be false.

From this story synopsis (if true), it sounds like Anna really wants Elsa to come back just so she won't have to be the Queen.

Kida's exclusion is due to the movie's lack of popularity, same goes with Eilonwy. Nala isn't in due to being a lion.

Not quite that I've imagined. Besides, there are some scenes that don't make sense (even though it's Russian) and/or the story line that I didn't expect. But for the record, I liked it. However, there are some scenes from Wizart's "The Snow Queen" that is already been compromised before Disney's "Frozen." Like... the little girl transformed into the Snow Queen, and Gerda changes her back into her normal human being with her magic mirror made by her father, Master Vegard. So the idea of Elsa turned into the Snow Queen and Anna changes her back into her normal human being with her spell or something whatever (kind of like Merida saving her mother, Queen Elanor, transform from a bear into her normal human being with a stitched drape of her and her family in Disney and Pixar's "Brave") is already done by Wizart with different characters, unless the idea is public domain like the Grimm Fairy Tales. For example, "The Smurfs" compared to "Enchanted," "Avatar" compared to "Pocahontas" and "Fern Gully: The Last Rain Forest," "Wreck-It Ralph ALMOST compared to "Cats Don't Dance (besides the setting)," and many more.

Well, that's interesting.

Anyway, those comparisons are rather forced. I often find that people in general try to hard to see comparisons between works or to claim one is a ripoff off another. Wouldn't worry about the similarities off some plot elements between it and Brave or Frozen, those sort of general ideas can;t be copyrighted.

If you could spare the time, could you give a plot summary for the film? Thanks.

Not to be rude or a jerk, but I'm afraid that it would be best to wait for the English version to be available, then I shall reveal the whole plot to you. I appreciate you for asking me very much, and I'm very grateful. However, I can show you the synopsis:

Wishing to create a new world where clean lines replace emotions and the polar wind cools human souls, the Snow Queen has blanketed the world in ice and set out to destroy all art. According to the predictions of a magic mirror, the last threat to the Snow Queen comes from the master glass-maker Vegard, whose mirrors not only appearances but also souls. One day the polar wind takes away Vegard and his wife Una. But they manage to hide their baby-boy Kai and daughter Gerda.

As years passed, Gerda and Kai live in a workhouse. When Kai gets taken by Orme (a troll who can shape-shift into a black weasel (or black mink) and is henchman of the Snow Queen) to the Snow Queen with a magic vial that contains the polar wind, Gerda with her pet white female mink named Luta and Orme find themselves stranded in the middle of a wintry wasteland. She, Luta, and Orme must surpass difficult obstacles to not only find and save Kai, but save the world from the Snow Queen as well.

I do have good news though. Wikipedia is about to post (or expect) a full story about Wizart's "The Snow Queen" in their Wikipedia website now that the animated feature is available in Russian theaters and international. Just a theory, I'm sure someone else (who would probably speak Russian) would post it before me, or if I do get a chance after watching the English version. Speaking of international, here are the international releasees provided by Wizart's "The Snow Queen" on IMDb:

I just hope we see a english camrip of Snow Queen 2012 soon of Russia. I mean they showeed a english trailer on youtube so hopefully there should be one lerking about ready to surface.

If they ever pay attention to it, which they do not. But I understand why. The people consider it as a Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, and so on rip-off. However, it did receive some positive reviews.

Well, i' m sorry, but i'm almost happy to see Wizart film will never beat Disney... The trailer is good, with action, wonderful icy and special effects, a good Ice of Age sidekick, and some good elements from the original story (the gypsies, here pirates, the finland woman, and the old woman with the magic garden...).... but the snow queen is so... ugly ! And above all, characters with big eyes and clumsy arms and legs seems to be born from middle age CG, long before Toy Story, like in the very beginnings of that technology. Don't want to be rude or scornful. For a modern russian film, it's big work and it will find its audience. But Disney Frozen will surely soar up, up above....
