Aren´t there any news as of when Home on the Range and Treasure Planet will be available in Spain?

...the same would apply for The Rescuers films, Brother Bear, Atlantis and The Great Mouse Detective.

PS

As expected, since the latest releases (Pocahontas, Fox and the Hound and Tarzan) used the same cover art as always Disney is selling the old DVDs as "new editions".

DC Fan, if those titles do not get a release in Spain, don't forget that you can import the US Blu-rays. They'll probably be region free and will play in your country. I know that's what I'll be doing, at least.

They won´t.

The only BR discs I know are from Warner.

Still, I´m from Puerto Rico living there so I don´t have problems since I watch them in Enlglish but almost everbody here want them in Spanish.

Besides, they eventualy get released...like The Fox and the Hound.

Treasure Planet and Home on the Range are both region free.

I imported them both. They are indeed region free and look great. Home on the Range a bit less so, but still an update over the DVD. It's also not nearly as bad as I remembered it to be.

Treasure Planet looks perfect. And it's a great film as well.

I'm just praying right now that Atlantis and Brother Bear won't be released as 2-movie collections. There's a reason the sequel-less Planet and Home were released first.

I simply refuse to buy the cheapquels. Heck, I refuse two movie sets altogether. I want my Rescuers films separate dang it.

At Least Rescuers and it's sequel (Rescuers Down Under) are actually part of the cannon not a sequel ala return to Neverland theatrically or a dtv Brother Bear 2.

I got my copy of Treasure Planet today. Interestly the Blu-ray includes several introductions by Laurie Metcalf recorded for the DVD release, but not included on the DVD. The galleries from the DVD however are not carried over and therefore the introductions sometimes refer to something that isn't on the disc.

The DVD that is included is the same as previously released, but with different sneak peeks.

All of the intros included on the Blu-ray essentially refer to material that's not not there. They look like remnants of a planned two-disc DVD of "Treasure Planet" ala "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" or "The Emperor's New Groove." This is especially weird when you play the Laurie Metcalf story intro and the only other option in the menu is the trailer. It's nice that they were included but they come off as pretty pointless.

Prep & Landing has been up for pre-order on Amazon for a while now, but the listing has just been updated to include additional details!

Image

The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack titled Prep & Landing: Totally Tinsel Collection and will contain both TV specials: Prep & Landing (2009) and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice (2011).

No word yet on if it will also include the Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa (2010) short, but I hope so!

Thanks MJW! I really love Prep and Landing. It's too bad there hasn't been any further word on doing a third special. It seems that idea has been put on hold for now. Hopefully someday!

The Rescuers - 27 / 8 / 2012 for Greece

No word of the sequel yet, so I think they will bypass it, which is strange cause the Middle-East is getting it.

I really hope the prices for Pocahontas, Rescuers and Aristocats will drop a couple of dollars before August 21st....they are $30 on Amazon (DVD packaging) and I don't think I've ever paid more than $25 for titles like Fox and The Hound and Dumbo for example.

Anyone know Brave's release date btw, or hasn't it been announced yet?

Mulan will be released on Blu-ray in spring 2013 in the U.S. The fact it is referred as a Platinum Edition is a common error and does not mean anything.
Boys and girls ages 3-7 will love this Little Golden Book retelling Disney's Mulan, available just in time for the release of the Platinum Edition DVD and Blu-Ray in spring 2013!
