It's 4.32 here in the UK and I've got to be up for work in around 3 hours but staying awake this late has been more than worth it to see Obama rightfully win re-election and 4 more years in the White House. Credit to Romney, he fought hard to the end, but the right man has unquestionably won in my mind and now hope will endure for at least 4 more years. Now to hit the coffee ready for the President's victory speech.

LMAO @ a Republican commentator on TV: "This is time to remember it's not about who wins, but about leading a country" FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE! You know you're gonna flip your shit as soon as the cameras are off!! Hahahahaha!!

HAHAHA!!!

Whenever dvdjunkie is done stomping his feet and going through the last box of kleenex I await hearing how the voting was rigged or the American people are morons...
Honestly I would have rather Gary Johnson for a REAL change, but glad for all the vaginas and gay friends/family, that it was not Mitt.

Once more, I feel like a heavy wight is on my shoulders. I was hoping Mitt Romney would win. -_-

I think junkie needs to be put on Suicide Watch, tbh.
But you should see the Republican meltdowns on my Facebook. I honestly hate my smalltown Southern background. They're starting prayer groups already.

Perhaps he is packing his things to move out of the country
And seriously..."not troll dvdjunkie"...have you not read his posts? Many of them spouting venom and ignorance at anyone who did not agree with him. And not only on politics but so much of everything. If the man can give people shit, he should be able to take it...especially since he assumes a majority of people posting here are young, ignorant, and non-American.

I know he has been speaking a lot of shit but we don't have to retaliate in kind. It's easy to be gracious in victory.

He has big boy pants. If he can give it, he can take a little. What I see here is a fraction of what he gives. Plus least we are doing it for giggles, he seems pretty serious when he is telling people they are ignorant.

People on another forum were speculating how great it would be if Hillary came back in 2016 to be our first female president. And I agree.

Me too. I was hoping he'd atleast get 5% of the vote and that as a result the Libertarian Party would be bumped up to minor party status, granting them equal ballot access and federal funding. Guess the two-party monopoly reigns on and continues to block change (with a frightening amount of enthusiasm from the public).

Congratulations Mr. Obama.
And thank you to my neighbors south of the 49th parallel for choosing well.
Now I want to know... when is Disney buying the White House? After they seal the Hasbro deal?

Close popular vote, big electoral college win for Obama. Certainly wider than expected, but not as big as many other elections. And most of the world breathes easier now...
