I got my first Blu Ray disc ever today when my "Meet the Robinsons" BD that I got from the DMR Birthday promotion arrived in the mail.

I can't watch it, but I own it. :P

Planet Terror [Blu-ray]

I haven't seen "Planet Terror" before, but I love cheapo horror movies (and Rose McGowan) and have heard some great things about it.

I like Rose McGowan, too, and want to see this, so let me know how it is!

I love "Planet Terror", it's good and cheesy! I got it at Best Buy for like $14.99 recently.
Hey, PeterPanfan: I just watched "Planet Terror" and really enjoyed it. Be prepared for lots of gore and blood, though. Rose McGowan is sensational as Cherry, the go-go dancer who wears a machine gun in place of an amputated leg. She's mankind's last hope when a biochemical is released into the Earth's atmosphere, transforming innocent bystanders into flesh-guzzling zombies. It's like NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD meets SHOWGIRLS meets SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. Tonnes of fun! :D

It is an actual horror movie? Or like... IDK haha. But is it actually scary?

No, it's not especially scary. The tongue-in-cheek tone is established right from the beginning of the film. There are some tense moments but I wasn't scared at all.
