I guess its more 'Princess-like', and she wears the white dress far longer in the movie as well.
In the marchandise i posted she wear the white one in UK stuff and the pink one in US stuff.
I guess you're right :D but still,i whould to see her in pink dress,in the poster you saw she was animated in pink dress?.
I guess she's 20 years old (like Belle,Jasmine or Pocahontas),also she seems to live alone.

She was in her white dress. But in the cardboard cutouts that were in the cinema , she was in her pink dress in animated form.

The lyrics are funny "If you can't sing then come along!"
Actually, I believe it's "If you cannot sing then hum along!"

And I actually was expecting the animals not to talk, like Snow White's animals. I thought only Pip was going to talk. I wouldn't mind their talking if I didn't think their voices were annoying! I would prefer them not talking, but also like the fact that they sing with her. Maybe if they only made animal noises to the tune?! But at least it's new and different from the typical high-pitched route.

Oh,then yeah,it makes more sense .
Me too, they are kinda annyoing (well, they sounds like little kids which is cute (like Flounder) but they are not really cute),it's the cutest when they don't talk (like Meeko).

Wow, the songs are campy in a nice way (with the way the melodies reference past Disney classics like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, and the lyrics go in a tongue-in-cheek mode), and yet there's sincere effort behind them and most importantly all of them have a heart just like in all those songs Menken has composed. I'm sure they'll work really well in the movie. "True Love's Kiss" is definitely the highlight of the songs (although it reminds me a bit of Menken's "God Bless Us, Everyone" song from A Christmas Carol), and I like how it's referenced in the underscore in a magnificent fashion.

I've heard neither James Marsden nor Amy Adams sing before, and thus I was positively surprised by their performances. Adams sings in a sweet way, creating a personality for her character, and Marsden sounds fantastic (as one can hear in the reprise part of "True Love's Kiss" and the magnificent but out-of-place version of the classic "That's Amore").

The score tracks sound great in the way how they reference the songs' themes and also give tribute to Menken's past Disney scores (the epic choral stuff from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the quirky rhythms of Hercules, the lush orchestration and tragic qualities of Pocahontas, the innocence of The Little Mermaid etc.). There's even a wonderfully ominous tribute to Beauty and the Beast in "Nathaniel and Pip", and there are a couple of other tributes to certain classical pieces in a couple of score tracks as well. And yet despite all these tributes the score does have a personality of its own, juggling the campy elements with the more sincere, dramatic parts.

If the movie lives up to the funny yet sweet songs and the thematic underscore, it'll be a joy to watch. This proves that Menken's still on top of his game, and I'm glad to see him back in his trademark fairytale mode. :)

No more than 15 minutes, if even that. There are approximately 8 minutes of animation in the beginning, and I don't know if any of us know about the possible ending animation.
My guess is.... There's the first 8 minutes will be until she's pushed down the well. Then, they'll be a short animated scene of a few minutes when Edward follows her. And then, another with Narissa comes to New York... plus a very short animated scene near the end! :D

Is anyone wondering; How does Giselle, who lived in a land of castles and no electricity or plumbing, suddenly know what a shower or toilet are? Did Robert teach her that fast? And what about "That's How You Know". Before she just needed a kiss. Who's teaching her that something every day will tell her she's loved, or that people can "go dancing" or be sent flowers?

:D Plotholes make for good songs! Go with it, so long as it's not a major plot thing.

I've been flipping through some kids' books, and I'm rather disappointed that they don't illustrate the live-action portion. In the ones where they have to have a non-screencap version of them (Where's Giselle, coloring books), they don't look very good. For storybooks (or a possible comic form, if Disney Adventures were only what is used to be), they should either keep Giselle and co looking her animated self and make animated-looking versions of everyone else, or think up of some way that attractively portrays them (I mean, note how Pixar always has a specific 2D way of portraying their very 3D characters).

I just... really don't like having pictures of real people on stuff like bags and shirts. It's very tacky to me.

Well, live action Giselle on a shirt is a lot less tacky than "I heart Troy" with a big picture of his face.

:D I realized something today! We did get the 5 songs we were promised from Alan and Stephan. While listening to the CD I realized both 'Ever After' (which will probably be the films final theme song) and 'So Close' are both illuded to in the score throughout the movie in particular in the 'Enchanted Suite' which combines all five songs into musical instrumental score.

It then came to me that So Close will be the song that plays in the ballroom scene or business party which Giselle is invited to by Robert (the one in the trailer that looks reminicent of Beauty and the Beast). It makes sense that it would play as they dance as a disney sounding song would not be played at a real life high class party. Also the fact the song speaks so much about finding new love works as a character piece for Robert. He is a divorced man and has lost faith in love and suddenly this beautiful girl from another world appears and makes him believe again.

So although only three songs are classic disney style 'So Close' is definately an Alan and Stephan piece. 'Ever After' could also be as it is the films final theme song for the credits but I am not certain. Anyway I am really excited about this and I am also working on a music video for You tube including 'So Close' with images from Enchanted and the other Disney Princess films. I'll post it asap. :D
