Disneykid, I do remember the tunnel looking spectacular and kind of extra creepy, especially with the flying old objects, in the trailer, but everything in the trailer looking awesome in 3-D! I don't remember objects flying at us out of the screen, but that will probably happen in the movie.
By the way, I don't remember the book saying down the rabbit hole it was like a long vertical twisted or upside down house/bunch of rooms with flying objects of mirrors and tables. Did I forget again, or was that only in the Disney version, too?

The sets and design of everything looks amazing in the trailer! And for Depp to get his voice to be how it is in the trailer is great. Can't really say much about the story line until we see it in March.
Funny how they used music from Shrek 2, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and A Series of Unfortunate Events. CATCF I understand because it is Danny Elfman so that one is a no-brainer. Just interesting they don't use generic trailer music made specially for trailers.

Interesting details? Unexpected surprises?
More like giant spoilers of what happens in the CLIMAX of the movie!
I'm not too happy I read THAT LINK.
I read it before I came, it was no one's fault here. But, be careful guys! Those are spoilers!

I'm guessing you missed the bolded letters that warned about spoilers then?
I read the spoilers, and I'm rather meh about it. Then again, I've never really cared too much about spoilers before.
I'm looking forward to seeing this, and I just might have to go see it in the theater! I very rarely go to the theater anymore, I think the last movie I saw in one was......the first narnia

1). Yay, teaser trailer! Alice looks older in this than she does in the promos... I still think she should be a little younger, but the actress looks like she can still pull it off. Also, why is there so much focus on Johnny Depp, even more than there is on Alice? I understand that he's going to be pulling in a lot of the profits, but it's almost false advertising.
2). I really like that new promo picture!
3). Another yay for the official site!

^ Dan, do you know that this is supposed to show only flashbacks of Alice when she is younger, but the actual movie has her older than the original story because she is continuing her adventures? Like a sequel, but not.

There's so much focus on Johnny Depp, because Johnny Depp is the most famous actor in the movie.. and will, like you said, bring in more profits. You answered your own question. People are going to enjoy Hatter alot.. probably more than Alice.
Think of it kinda like Dark Knight.. Joker wasn't the main character but Heath Ledger surely got most of the attention. And rightfully so.

But the joker does have lots of screen time.
As for most famous. Why not show some of Anne Hathaway. Or Alan Rickman. They're not exactly nobody's.
Still I agree though, Disney + Depp = $$$

Seriously. Anne Hathaway is probably in the Top 5 of most popular actresses today. Helena Bonham Carter is pretty famous, as well.

How do we not know Depp will have lots of screen time? Believe me, Depp will have PLENTY of screen time..

Did the official website always contained concept art, and the trailer?

Considering it was just made public, I'd assume so.

Apparently Disney will be releasing high-end fashion based on this movie's designs:

I've got to give Disney some credit; this is one of the few times where they aren't skimping on the promotional campaign. Hopefully it all pays off.
Oh, and to anyone going to D23 Expo, be sure to take lots of photos (and video, if you can sneak it) during the Alice presentation September 11.

I'm
planning on going to the presentation for Alice, but I can't promise anything because I'm going to be leaving only at 10:15ish for it since I'm technically suppose to be in class. I might not make it, but if by some miracle I do, I will bring my camera and take pictures galore (and video too, hopefully!) Dunno if they'll be great quality though, but I will do my best.

Does this mean striped stockings and Mary Jane shoes are back?
