After listening to Beyond I’m slightly more cautiously optimistic about this. I like the song and the chorus kind of lingers in my head. It’s already better than any song in Wish. A low bar but still.

Might catch this in cinemas.

The only major problem I see is that we’ve now entered a stage where we’re sharing YouTubers videos as ‘news’.

I mean its catchy enough but kinda predictable. I hate how the lyrics dont really have a clear want and tiptoes around the "theyre calling me, im the leader its my respondsability" narrative that we have heard millions of times already with recent princesses including Asha.
A classic Wish deluxe track. If they are promoting THIS one for the Oscars....

It will probably take Frozen 4 the final chapter (endgame treatment) to make it the first animated movie to gross 2B$
I can see it making Frozen 2 numbers, but never 2B

They should have kept this thing as a series for various reasons

I think “Beyond” sounds bland but not bad. But my goodness, what a powerhouse Auli’i Cravahalo has become!

Dwayne Johnson was on GMA and talked a bit about his song "Can I Get A Chee Hoo?" and presented a short clip featuring Maui.

A new featurette about "Beyond" has also been released and here's a video of the composers performing the song on the piano.

Worst than Wish? It's hard to make something so bad as Wish or even worst.

Wish was worse than bad, Wish was boring and generic, bad movies at least make an impression in audiences, instead Wish was a forgettable movie that took no risk at all or creative liberty

To be honest, Beyond is not a bad song. In fact, it`s good enough and pleasant to listen to. But there`s nothing distinctive about it. The melody is somewhat lazy and the verses feels just as repetitive with the melody as the chorus, as it never expands or develops the melody in any other ways. But since the "I want"-songs have been regarded as the "it"-songs from Disney since Let it Go, it would be tempting to wonder if this song is going to be regarded as How Far I`ll Go or Into the Unknown.
